Are you friends with your siblings?

We treat each other as friends. That's how our parent's had raised us. When we are still young we used to fight over small things but our mom always manage to patch things up. Now that we are older and we all have our own family, we always find time to be together. We do go out sometimes and whenever we have problems or we need each others advise we see to it that the first person that we tell, is each other.

I try to be friendly with all my siblings. We went through the same trials as kids. I must admit, however, there are few whom I can count on if I need help. Maybe a few in certain circumstances.

Am I friends with my siblings? Ummm, one or two of 8. Not alot huh, I love them all don't get me wrong but you don't have to like their ways to love them. We grew apart and went our separate ways. I have always said we were a dysfunctional family and it is really true. When we get together for outings it is somewhat uncomfortable like wearing a pair of pants 2 sizes to small. My siblings fight and argue about everything I try not to fight with anyone I am sometimes the ones that brings everyone back together after a fight. As I said i love them but I wouldn't say I was really close to all of them. My little sister is the one I am closest to and she is 7 years old and I have her here at my house atleast twice a week. She is almost like the daughter I never had. I try to spoil her rotten.

Hello ersmommy. I have three siblings, an elder brother and elder sister, but we maintain very good sibling relationship. I love my siblings and they love me as well. It makes us happy to have good sibling relationship. Take care, friend.

I have 4 sister. Only three of them I still talk to. I see the other one at holidays but weren't close and very rearly talk. One leaves down the street from me so I can see her every day if I want too which I love.

I'm still living with my parents and siblings, and we aren't really incredibly close. We tolerate each other, we talk to each other, but we don't really know each other. We're strangers. I'm not sure I really want to be closer to them, I just don't know why.

My sister and I are very close so I would say we are friends. While my older brother and I have never gotten along and sometimes seeing him once every few years seems like to often.

Ah, you are just like me, only you are in the slot of my younger sister. I also have three siblings, I am the oldest girl. I am close with my sister under me. I think we are the closest out of the four. I am cool with my brother. But he is the only boy, and into his own things in College, so we don't talk much. I am going to Church with him this Sunday though. Now, the youngest sister no one is close with. She is on her own tangent right now; 18 and smelling her own stuff, hooked up with a no good something or another that is whopping her upside the head, and doesn't want to listen to anyone. We have all tried talking to her, but she'd rather move out instead. Don't know where she is, just that she is still in the city, and texts every once in a while. We hope she grows out of this, but as long as she is acting like this, no one wants to be close to her.

I get along with most of my siblings. I have 4 brothers and 1 sister. All of them are older than me. I have 2 brothers that I rarely talk to, but we get along fine when we do. My sister and 2 other brothers I talk to about once a week and I see them about once a month.

ersmommy - hi. Well, we were a family of five who drove our parents crazy. I lost my sister to Leukemia when she was only 30. Now I'm stuck with three brothers. My younger brother's a good kid and we like each other. We live too far away to have a close, personal relationship, but we love getting together. My middle brother is not such a nice person. I ignore him as much as I can. My oldest brother is my best friend. We're 10 years apart, but even as a young child, he looked out for me. He's helping me right now, actually, I'm staying with him while I wait for an apartment to open up. It's been some time now, and I think he still loves me. travel lightly, anawar out.

I have an older brother and I can honestly say we do have a good relationship. We are fairly close to each other and I do see him as a friend. There are times when it is hard to maintain the conversation because we do have different interests, but we both try hard to maintain it, because if anything happens to our parents, we are all we have of the family.

My siblings are my friend. I have three siblings, two sisters and one brother, all are younger than I am. I like them as a friend because even they are younger than me they still able to give me good inputs and an objective opinion. Actually, to be honest, they are the best friend I've ever had, since they are my family they would do anything to protect me and keep me away from harmful actions.

I only have one sister and she is 2 1/2 younger than I am, but we have a great relationship. I respect her as a person and love her as a sister, and we do have much in common. We had our ups and downs as kids but I think all siblings have that. I am lucky to have a sis like her.
