What's the deal with myLot blogs?

Hey I was checking out the blogs section on myLot. I am kinds confused. Are these blogs written by myLot or it's users? Do you get paid for commenting?

We do get paid for commenting on the blogs. I would assume they are from myLot user's because in order to submit a blog, you must be a myLot user. But I am not sure if they are "active" myLot users. And there can be cases when myLot admin just add them. Have a nice day!

Maybe there are few responses because it is harder to respond to a blog than to a discussion. If one would respond to a blog, he or she should really be interested in it.

I *think* they are written by myLot users and I am 99% sure you do get paid for commenting (just like the news section).
