When was the last time?

When was the last time that you take some extended leave from your work and go for a good holiday with your family or relatives or even friends for that matter? Do you do this annually or only when you have the time and money to do it? Do you prefer to go away with your family or relatives or only with friends? Do you have to go somewhere far away or it can be just a nice place nearby? My wife and I are not from the same country and currently my wife is living with me in my country. Therefore, at least once a year, I would take about 10 days off from work and we would go back to her country and have a good vacation there. However, 10 days are rather short when we are having fun. That has become our routine for the last two years and we are looking forward to our next year's holiday. At that time, our son would be about 2 years old and I am sure that he would be able to enjoy the vacation more compared to when he was just a baby during our last trip. So, I am looking forward to hear about your vacation plans. Let me know how long your vacation time is and whether you are going somewhere in the near future or next year. By the way, with the recent global economic downturns, will you be going ahead with your plans or things may have to be changed to accommodate the current situations? Happy sharing!

I have almost three months of vacations every year as I work at school. I'm lucky coz I have my vacations in summer. I live in the north-west of my country and should say that summers are rather cool here even cold. So every year I go to the Crimea where all my relatives live. I like to spend my summer in a village and near the sea.
