Wild Life or City Life

We live out in the country in Upstate New York. It is not uncommon to see a momma deer with her baby(ies) run across the road in various parts of the county. From time to time we will see groups of Tom Turkeys and hens alongside the road or out in the fields. In recent times, reports of momma black bear with cubs has been reported. As the leaves drop, we are fortunate to be able to look out the window, grab the binoculars and are able to view deer in their natural habitat. Soon the Canadian geese will fill the air with their honking as they take off for warmer climates. This is fascinating to watch as they take off and get into formation. Their leaving is a sure indication that winter will be coming soon... Attached is one photo of some baby raccoons that I was privy to get right up close to and snap several wonderful shots of. In fact, in one photo I have a shot of one of our cats sitting quite close to the babies. What about you, do you get to enjoy the sights and sounds of wild life or city life?

Wow that sounds absolutely wonderful! I have always wanted to live out in the wild life like that! I love animals. I am used to seeing people, people, and more people! It's not quite so amazing ha. Instead you hear squeaking tires, and horns blowing. You can see and smell gas occasionally. You see car accidents and people fighting. It is just bad.

I grew up in the city, so I am definitely aware of the sound of traffic and emergency vehicles. I generally drive to the city a couple of times a month because my daughter lives there and usually I have to get stuff for the dogs or they need to be groomed. You are greeted with concrete and asphalt, as opposed to the green grass and corn fields and pumpkin patches.
