Direct Selling

here in the Philippines, there are several direct selling companies. where in you will need to register or invest an amount of money in exchange of the products then you sell it for you to have extra income. there are several brands, like natasha, boardwalk, hang ten and a lot more. who among you are members of direct selling? are you gaining money with selling it to other people? who among you prefer to buy from these companies than buying on the mall?

I tried natasha before and avon, they are nice direct selling companies but one thing i don't like in that business is, some people never pay thier credits to you and you forced to pay their own debts to the office with your won money. When you going to tell them that it's their due dat for the product they ordered they always saying next time, next day until they hide and disappear. I had a bad experieced on it. happy posting.

Yes i agree on that, i was before natasha's manager and a Saralee Authorized Distributor...My goodness i was put into debt because of those people i trusted, they was run away and did not pay what they have been used...I was very disappointed for that experience. That's why I stop...Now I've seen more meaningful business and very helpful to my family. Specially to my children's scholarship and health...they can study without our expense because of that business.

I'm in love with direct selling. It is for a me a good money earner especially if apart from doing direct selling, you also have a fulltime job where you can offer those tiems to your colleagues in the office. I carry a lot of direct selling. From Avon to Boardwalk, Natasha, MSE and a lot more. I really wanna grow and to be able to I need to work hard for it. I do get a lot of products from what I sell but I don't when it comes to clothing. Why? I don't want to go hopping from one direct selling shop/company wearing one's product. So, I prefer to buy from Divisoria. By the way, if anyone of you are interested to do direct selling, please do not hesitate to reach me at erinfrancisco@gmail.com. An office will never be complete with and an employee who is engaged in this business... i sold avon when i was workinga abroad... and it was such a good money earner... because i had a lot of customers who ordered by the bulk... but i did not do that here in the Philippines because of too much competition... I really prefer buying in malls... but when i have a brochure infront of me... it is just too tempting to order some items...

sure it is a good money earner as long as your customers pay you on time

im into different direct selling right now and i guess anyone can earn from this if they know how to use the money. For me direct selling help me somehow, its also an additional income. So far i never had a problem in my customer because all of them are from the company i am working and the good thing is my friend is the one whos handling their salary and we have a deal to less their credit on their salary once their payment is already due.

I've never been in a direct selling company that I was responsible for my teams purchases. I think nowadays direct selling companies are different where each person is their own independent business and the company handles everything through the internet such as their purchases and their commission checks. If I had to deal with all that, it would take up too much of my time that I could be using to build my team. I wrote an article about direct selling here: http://www.homebusinesssmart.com/what-is-direct-selling/

Those companies you mentioned sell clothes don't they? I don't know how you would make money off selling clothes, but I do know some people who have successfully earned a lot by selling cosmetics. Avon is a big brand that comes to mind. There are others as well such as NuSkin which I think is more expensive and more oriented toward health and wellness. Anyway, direct selling is just like a full time job- you work at your own pace but you need to put in a lot of time and effort in order to really make money.

sometimes i prefer to buy on the direct selling agents cause their products are far better than the one you see at the malls yet "nice to look at but sad to say, low quality"

I do( as I have said in another topic of yours) but I don't sell I just capitalize the discount for my own use, but I stopped now because it is draining my milking cow (my hubby harhar) I spend a lot on Avon and when there were sales and so happens that I was there I would buy things even if I have no use of it (sayang eh) and now there are at least a dozen or so undies sitting in the closet and some brassieres I bought before (sayang ang sale!) oh well there was a time that I spend 5 thousand Philippine Peso there (roughly 100 US dollar) crap! I have to stop myself from going there.

It is not something I would invest my time into unless You like to loose your money or you have the money or you'd like to be taken advantage of.I can't really answer your question if only direct selling is something you like to do.Everyone is good at their own thing or too.Perswaying people into using their money for catalog type stuff and you have a good understanding of the retail and math part of it.I have done a fair amount of direct selling in my lifetime.MaryKay;Watkins;TupperWare;Avon;etc. It all really depends on the way you are.
