I attend to shop for food by the month. I'v tried shopping for the week and it just did not work for us. It seemed we would spend to much one week and not have enough to buy for the next. I figure that when I shop for the whole month it's easier because I then know how much of every thing I need for the entire month and plus I only have to shop for food once a month which means more time to spend with my family. So which do you perfer shop for the month or shop by the week?

Ya..Thats how it should be done. even i shop for food and groceries once a month . when we do that we know how much we have and stuff like that. And thats actually helps alot in maintaining your diet and stuff like that. And the ohter thing is also that , it would be ok to go once a month to the shop to buy the stuff than rather go evrey week and waste time again and again. So generally i go like once a month, with huge huge bags. fill it with whatever i can. Saves times and effort but then the only problem is that when we shop for like 1 month .Dammit with that huge bill, i get a headache but then its ok. Its for the entire month and not for just the week and all. Lol. hehe. Well anyways happy mylotting :)

I so agree with you on that. With me having the huge bill, I'm in this homescanning group so I have to scan all the stuff when we get home so that I can give them my opinions about what we buy. So it can be fun knowing that we get gifts for doing it is rewarding. If u want I can get ya the link if you would like to join. Happy MyLotting

I told my daughter that she should shop weekly, but with one change. Shop the first week on Monday, the second week go shopping on Tuesday, the third on Wednesday and so on. After 7 weeks you get a free week.
