You wanna spend money, just follow these steps: 1. Don't buy anything on impulse 2. Make a list of what you need daily, weekly or monthly. 3. Buy assets, I mean things that can put money into your hands/pocket 4. Invest the money in government securities, shares, and rental income. 5. Be wise and discipline.

If you look left and right, forward and back, high and low, you can still find ways to earn descent money. It's just a matter of how much are willing to sacrificem, and how much effort are you willing to dish out to earn money. By all means you can earn money by selling life insurance to your office mates. Or, for those less sophisticated, selling street foods on the side-walk. There are ways out there to earn money if you're really determined about it. And, to spend it wisely, ask yourself one thing - can I live another day or two if I won't buy this product now? If your answer is yes, then don't buy it. Unless there's some freak hoarding going on and the supplies are running out, it's time for you to think about the long run. Save, save, save...

Make a list of things that you need, budget your money. After receiving your salary, save at least a portion of it so that when emergencies arises you can pull out something in your pocket. Do not buy things that you really don't need. Buy only things that are immediately need, basic needs. Also, think of ways that you can save money or lessen your expenses like not using the ACs at night(it's usually cold at night so you can use the fan instead), unplug your electronic stuffs after using(it still consumes electricity even if it's tuned off but still plugged in). That way you can save some money. There's a lot of ways to save, that's just one of it.. can you understand this dude?.. Pinoy ka ba? pre dame kasi mali ng english mo eh.. xenxa na.. dame redundant,etc.. If you don't understand what I wrote about, ignore it.. \m/

Other frnds have given so many ways already, i am adding few more. 1] Dont run behind Branded stuffs. 2] Dont buy too much accessories for life... e.g. if a fan can suffice then why should you buy an A.C. 3] Never buy anything which is having great discount but u dont really need them. 4] Dont buy a thing that you dont need because its cheap... 5] Instead of having lunch and dinner at Some Big Restaurant, try to cut the bill by preparing at home... [occasionally its fine]

Yeah, you're right. Many times we get too excited buying things without thinking first if we really need it for our everyday existence. Many of us can easily get trap from what we called "Sale Products" I remember a friend of mine who bought a microwave oven because it is sale --that's the time when one of the biggest mall in nearby city launch a 3-day Christmas sale. You know what? After a couple of months...he told me with regrets: "It's a big mistake to buy microwave oven...men it consumed us a lot of electricity...That's why we cannot use it frequently." Thanks! Your comment can help us make a wise decision in spending money!

These will all boil down to the values planted in you with the influence of the the following: your environment which include everything that influence you, the way you are raised to view money and to whom you are answerable with. But along the course of our lives, you will encounter ideas by people which makes sense in valuing these god given medium to do almost everything, Openness to new ideas and tips on spending money wisely will put you in good stead in the future.. Developing your own plan in spending will be a good tool. I myself is listing all my to buy list and classifying them to know which one is urgent and important and important but not urgent

Yes you are correct in saying we need to invest something for the future. I agree with you especially when we invest and keep it for the future things we need...things that are necessarily important in our life. Thanks a lot.

The only real advice I think I can give on this is do your research. No matter what product you buy it always pays to shop about and find the cheapest possible price. Many good can be researched on the internet via the use of comparison sites. To save even more money if you buy products or services online through a cashback site you will even benefit from an extra percentage back of the original price you paid out. I regularly stick to rule I mentioned above and have carried it out a numerous purchases over the internet. The latest thing being a laptop from dell which I purchased and was intitled to at least ten pounds cashback back for free. Of course if you really are looking to save the pennies I agree with you...only buy the product if it's really a necessity...your soon see savings if you adopt a rule like this into your financial spending.

I believe the best possible way to spend our money wisely is to begin with a budget. God wants us to use common sense and wise planning in allocating our resources. So we must first make a list of our priorities, first of all we must give our tithes to the Lord in full amount, He must receive the first fruit of our income not leftovers because in the first place it's not our money. God owns it at all and give to us as He pleases. So after paying the Lord that's the only time we can go to pay our necessities such as housing, food and clothing. Then after that we can plan for our emergencies, other bills and personal enjoyment.
