We are throwing a 50th birthday/halloween party for my dad this year. We have invited a group of their friends to come in costume. I need some ideas for good party games to play. It is going to be all adults, no kids. What are some good party games, Halloween themed if possible?

Apple Bobbing is always a good game to play! And always a good laugh whether you're adults or children. You could invest in LOTS of toilet paper and get into pairs and see who can create the best mummy! I know the games sound childish, but they're still such a laugh, no matter how old you might be when you play them!

As a child I loved apple bobbing but as I got older I realized how unsanitary it is. How many people's mouths are going to be on the apple uggg. you can string up plain donuts and have them stand there the object is that the person left with the least amount of donut without breaking it wins.

Hi, ravinskye. That is a fun thing to do for your dad's birthday. I have had fun playing the candy bar guessing game at a Halloween party before. The object is to guess the type of candy bars based on a piece that has been microwaved. I found this description of the rules online: Rules: Buy 20 different brands of chocolate bars (snickers, baby ruth, milky way, twix etc.) and put a sizeable piece of each on a paper plate, but not the whole bar - just a piece of each. Number each plate with a marker from 1 to 20 and make sure that you keep track of which candy bar is put on each numbered plate. Make a list such as #1 Snickers #2 Mr. Goodbar #3 Kitkat etc. Put each plate in the microwave and wait until the candy bar is melted pretty good. Some will melt better than others, therefore you may have to do some squashing with your finger to make them a bit less recognizable. But don't melt them or squash them too much since it may make them completely unrecognizable. You want to give your guests a fighting chance here. Next, after all melting and squashing is complete, put all the plates on a table with paper and pencils and have them write down their guesses. Then read off the answers and have them mark their correct guesses. The one with the most correct wins. What do they win? Candy bars of course! I hope it is a fun party for you all.

Again late with this one, but.. Halloween Fortune Telling – In this game, your guests put their knowledge of one another to the test and get to know each other better. Simply hand out slips of paper and a pencil to each guest. Each person then chooses a person at the party (maybe even himself or herself), but doesn’t tell anyone who it is. Then, everyone write a “fortune” for that person, folds it, and puts it into the fishbowl. You can have everyone write one or several; that’s up to you. Then, each guest pulls out a slip of paper and reads the fortune. He then tries to guess which person wrote the fortune and which person the fortune is about. Some examples of fortunes might be: “This person will get caught doing something illegal and spend the night in jail.” “This person will marry someone from a foreign country.” ”This person will quit his job and buy a Corvette when he turns fifty.” Each person who correctly guesses wins a small prize. It's a fun ice breaker. “This person will adopt a child.”

you can play pumpkin bowling. Get a few empty 2 litter bottles, fill them with gravel or cat litter to make them stand, then paint them with funny or scary faces. Use smaller sized pumpkins as bowling balls. Or Candy Corn toss. Divide into teams of 2 or more, then give one member of the team a hollowed out pumpkin, let them stand a good distance away. Give the other memebers pieces of candy corn and let them try to toss it into the pumpkin the other person is holding. The team with the most pieces in the pumpkin wins. Or you can play create a scarecrow. Divide into teams and give them some old clothes, something they can use for a head, old hats, newspapers and some markers they can draw a face on with. Which ever team finishes first or who ever has the best pumpkin wins.
