So.. the season five premier is tonight! 2 hours 9/8cst. I am so excited I could jump out of my skin! haha It seems like it was just the finale and I had a 2 hour cry session and then hoped the months would fly by to September. And now, it's here, FINALLY! Anyway, sorry for my dramatics, but I really am that excited. My question is, how psyched are you for the NEW season? What are you looking forward to seeing? Any speculations? Me, I'm a Meredith/Derek supporter 100%, so I hope things work out for them.. I think they have a hard road ahead but I think they need to keep trying and keep communicating. And Mere definitely needs to stay in therapy, and I can say that--I have my own issues, so it's coming from an understanding place--no judgments! I'm also looking to see what happens with the other potential couples that were set up in the finale! 7 hours and counting!

aww.. yep, it's tonight! I am looking at the tv listings now, and survivor is 8-10 eastern time, and Grey's is 9-11 eastern. I don't watch Survivor, but I have this situation on Tuesday nights now, I have a 2 hour show and 2-1 hour shows on at the same time, luckily they re-air shows on The CW throughout the week, so I catch those other nights. With Grey's Anatomy you have the option of watching the episodes in full the day after, so if you really don't want to miss Survivor you could watch it at ABC.com, me, I already got the season pass on i-tunes--it's cheaper this season because they now have it in hi-definition, and that costs 39.99, which is how much it used to cost for standard def! LOL Anyway, hope you get to see it, even if it's not tonight.

Oh! That is great news! For me, I always know if I fall asleep and miss Grey's I can always watch it online the next day, but I prefer to watch it on tv first, somehow it's better.. the suspense with commercials. haha I am so happy to hear that you can watch both!

My wife and I watch the show fairly regularly. I will admit that, even being a guy, I really like this show. Unfortunately, we missed the premire tonight so I am hoping I can catch it online. Did you like it? Did it live up to earlier seasons? Don't give away too much but I do look forward to seeing it.

That is so cool that you like the show as well, I think it's great when a husband and wife have a show or shows that they can relax and watch together. I think it's very sweet. Sorry to hear that you missed it, but definitely try to watch it online! It was definitely a good one, and I am happy with the way it turned out, but it is definitely just the beginning, I think the best is yet to come--but it's definitely a great start. I don't want to say much because you missed it and I'm sure others haven't seen it yet, but I think a lot of people will be happy with the turn out, some may not, but most will I believe. The most disappointing thing for me was, at the end when the preview was like "two weeks from tonight".. so it's not gonna be on next week. That really bugs me, especially since it's just getting started! I really hope they don't do this all season, I can't handle missing a week! Especially after last season and the strike. Although, Private Practice starts next Wednesday, so that's an upside, for me at least.. but I will hate missing Grey's!

I'm excited too. I've been hooked on this show from the start. Of course, Derek's nurse is going to end up pregnant, right? I'm a Derek/Meredith supporter too. I've got my popcorn ready and instructions for hubby that it will be his night to put my son to bed. Haha.

yea, that's what the trailer is suggesting. LOL I don't know what will actually happen, but if it's true--that should introduce an interesting situation for Meredith and Derek. I mean, Meredith *did* know he was with Rose, so she can only get so mad if Rose is really pregnant. LOL Sounds like you are all ready for tonight! My mom is bringing KFC home for dinner, but I will probably be done eating before show-time, so maybe I'll just get a muffin and a drink and plant myself in bed to watch.. and hope I don't have to go to the bathroom too much for 2 hours!

I am MORE than ready! The previews have me scared. I'm PISSED that the Nurse Rose - is pregnant with Derek's child (so she says!!!). Then who gets into an accident and is struggling? Looks like Derek! He may be leaving the show - and there goes my darling Meredith!!!

Yea, the pregnancy thing is so "OMG", LOL that's all I can say. I do tend to be suspect about it, and I won't believe it till I see the actual show, and what exactly goes down with it.. I mean, I believed that Rebecca was pregnant and look how that turned out. I read spoilerfix, and I don't want to talk too much about what they say there because not everyone likes spoilers, and I don't really--I'm just addicted to Grey's and needed a little something to guide me till tonight. LOL But the episode is called "Dream a Little Dream of Me", so the title leads me to believe that there will be situations that are actually part of dream sequences. But nobody knows till tonight, but that's just my theory. I think *something* extreme will take place, but I'm hoping that Derek is ok! I really hope he doesn't leave--I really can't see him leaving, I mean, Burke left, and I just can't see another major character leaving just yet. Also, I've been reading about Derek leaving for the past 2.5 seasons, so I really don't anticipate that happening. He is on of my favorites, because he is so sensitive and caring, and so passionate. He is the kind of man you can only find in fairy tales (or Grey's Anatomy..LOL)

Grey's Anatomy has a lot of fans, I know and here you are, probably as big a fan as any. I don't watch any tv these days and I miss doing that.

LOL yep.. anything I'm a fan of I pride myself at being hardcore, I could give anyone a run for their money in trivia for any show I love! But yea, tv is great--for me when I find a show I like, I usually become hooked instantly.. because really in the grand scheme of things I don't usually get into new shows that often, they have to really have something that hooks me.

I too am a Grey's fan. My husband and I can't wait until it comes on. He is a Meredith/Derek supporter but sad to say I am not. I kind of liked the idea of him moving on and being with Rose. I know Meredith has commitment issues and all but she takes Derek through too many changes. I also don't like the Cali/Erica thing either but we'll see what happens. I actually liked Cali and George together although that's long gone. Maybe they'll bring on a new character so Christina can get a man. We'll see.

That's so cool that your husband also watches it with you. Everyone definitely has their own opinions on those two, and every other couple--and that is good. I just see this intense force between the two. It would be nice to see Derek move on, if he was really moving on, but I would hate to see Rose end up finding Meredith's panties in his suit like Addison did, or something equally bad--and history speaks for itself. LOL yea, it was a bit of a shock for me the first time Erica kissed Callie, I don't really have any feelings about it.. if they end up happy I will be happy for them. LOL and yea, Callie and George are long gone. Anyway, enjoy the show tonight, I know I will! hehe :D

I watched because I was too tired to read or do any writing. It reminded me why I stopped watching it last season. Daytime soap opera transplanted to evenings. Boooring and ridiculous. One crisis after another. They really piled it on.

I am so glad that you posted this. I knew the season premier was tonight, but had no idea that it started at 9 and is 2 hours! Now I have to refigure my schedule for this evening so I can see the whole show. I am also a Meredith/Derek supporter. I would love to see George and Izzy back together but not George and Little Grey.

LOL yep, 9 eastern time and 8 central. I moved in January and I'm still trying to get used to thinking in central time since I lived back east my whole life. OH yea! I would like to see George and Izzy back together as well, I thought I was the only one who felt that way.. I mean, I hate that it had to be the way it was, I don't agree with affairs, but they were both responsible for it happening, and honestly--I saw it coming since season 2! Yea, I don't want to see George and Lexie together, for one--it's a bit weird.. considering he was with Meredith and he was hung up on Meredith for so long. They would make a cute couple probably, but with the history, it's just too weird! Good luck clearing up that time to catch the premier!

Grey's anatomy is my favoriate show. I have watched season 1, which is the most fanstastic part so far as I am concerned, for 5 times. I didn't know the season five premire would be on tonight. Thanks for telling us. I can't wait to watch, really! It gave me a feeling that I was in just like they do. Besides Meredith, I like the Nazi. I remember her lines well. ''Mcdreamy, go sit besides someone who cares" " Don't bother sucking up, I've already hated u, it's not gonna change." Doctor Bailey didn't act as the leading role. Thus, maybe few people pay attention to her. For I see, she is pretty cool! Additionally, I hope Dr. Burke will come back to town anyway. Without him, It doesn't feel right in my opinion.

I haven't even downloaded the show but I'm sure it will be great! last season's finale was soo nice I watched it twice! I hardly do that. Like you, I actually can't wait for the new Derek-Meredith romance. I hope there'll be a real wedding soon! I mean, them building a house is just the first step towards matrimony and little McDreamies right? I'm not excited about Izzie's story though I just like her less and less as the show goes on.
