Hello! The price of all commodities have increased in the recent past and it has never come down.It has effected people of middle class specially because they are the customers on whom the business people largely depend.Any loss in the purchasing power of this class surely effect the economy of a country. However it is impossible to cope with the rising prices and we have to cut consumptions as we can't increase our income. It will still worsen the economic condition of the poor people.thanx.

oh goodness am I effected. I am finding it hard to pay my bills, and pay for the necessities in life like food and gas. I think the gov. policies need to change because if they don't I don't see any other way of changing things. There is no way for us to get oil prices down, although I think we should try to start drilling off shore in our own land..

even then the govt. will claim it and you will lose the land too. ain't it a global issue rather than a country's own problem..... the signs are there USA, Pakistan etc have started going down hope this comes to a hold!!

We are somehow affected because the prices of the basic commodities have all gone up. Even just a liter of soda has gone up. Oil prices has gone up which affects everybody. They call it the "domino effect" once the price of energy goes up then everything else goes with it. The only thing we can do is conserve everything that can be conserved, from the lights, water down to the food we eat.
