why do familiy ,and friends try to take advantage of friends and famiy?

I have only so much money to give and do if I can afford it well have done it. to a couple of my family members But now I have had to ask brother for a loan and have almost got it paid off. And hope I never have to ask again!

in some cases because they can, they take advantage of their family and friends and will figure they will accept this behavior from them

I think a lot of people really do think they have rights just because they are family or even good friends...I have seen a lot of what I call grabby relatives and even in friends..I have seen families of unmarried people take it for granted that they are going to inherit the unmarried persons house and money...I don't know why people think that someone who is not married is going to automatically leave everything to them and especially in some of the cases I have seen hardly ever spends much time with these people...very grabby people in this world today.

Family and friends often do take advantage of each other more because they know so well what you will and will not put up with . If you are someone who has a hard time saying no , they realize this and feel for some reason that it is there right to use you . I have been in this situation for so long that I am tired of being taken advantage of and not willing to put up with it anymore . Family or not !! I find family a lot worse then friends because my friends don't do this to me because they ones that were doing it to me , I quit hanging out with .

Most often, my family takes me for granted, just because I am a member of the family. Honestly, I really feel disgusted about this. Brothers, sisters, they don't seem to care if what they are about to do would offend you or hurt you, just because they are your siblings. Some can't even apologize for the offense that they have done. For them, it has to be automatic.... you forgive, you understand. It's funny, because you'd expect that a family member would be more considerate, the mere fact that you grew up together, and supposedly know each other very well. Unfortunately, you could get more consideration from people you never knew before.
