I say the relationship can be difficult enough with out worrying about letting go or forgetting, LOL! Honestly if I couldn't forgive then I would let go. I never forget but I may not think about it on a daily basis after I forgive. I guess forgetting is the hardest part. It is easier to just let go and run away.

I think that it is hard to forget past hurts. When someone close to us really hurts us badly, it remain imprinted in our subconscious and it is difficult to forget what have happened

For me is letting go, especially when your life revolves with her, that when you get use of us not I, when you already have plans, when it's running so smoothly and suddenly one want's to be complicated by saying let go, and it's very hard to accept. Forgetting is moving on, when you can still see someone better then your ex by moving on. Have a nice day!

i think it depends on the relationship and what the problem was.. if it was a friendship that ended badly by them hurting you then it would probably be the forgetting.. if it was a lover that broke up it would probably be more hard to let everything go since you may still be in love with them
