Whose advice do you take or obey more? Mom's or Dad's

Hi there. I believe that every child has a preference when comes in terms of father or mother. Mostly, mothers would tend to be mild and less aggressive towards their children if their children have done mistakes or what not. And for fathers, things go the other way round. However, both of them will surely give out helpful advice to help us cope with life. But, as i said, fathers will lecture children more than mothers so children tend to ignore dad's word of advice. Do you agree with me?

Sincerely I listen to everyone's advice but when the final decision making comes I follow my heart and my conscience. I am close to my mom and so mostly seek help from her but Executing it is totally on me. I listen to her but decide my self whether I should work on it or not. Most often she is correct but if I don't feel right i don't execute it.

Neither! My dad is in prison and my mom's whole outlook is just so different from mine. I think I am more of an advice-giver than her.

It all depends on what the advice is for. Sometimes I will listen to neither! I tend to take my dad's advice if it something mechanical or financial. I never ignore my dad's advice, I just don't always use it. When I was a kid I suppose it was my mom's advice I sought if I was in trouble. But since I am not afraid of that anymore I usually go to my dad. His advice is usually sound.

That's a hard question. Probably my mum? Maybe is because i am closer to her. But sometimes what i think is right i will go ahead and do it. regardless of the instructions given
