Why does most dicussions posted here in MyLot starts and ends with a question?

i think most people ask here questions. they want bthe naswers for what they want to know. may be that is why it always ends in a question mark. many also just end a description.

Maybe it's because if you starts in questions you got lots of responses that answers and it increase the number of responses. Coz usually it's easy to answer the questions specially if it's base ion our experiences. happy posting.

You should always ask a question because that is what invites discussion. A page of information isn't a discussion, it is simply a statement. The best questions ask for an opinion or information. They generally begin with What, Where, Which, How, When, Who, Why - all the 'WH' words (except How). The title of the discussion need not be a question but it probably makes people want to look at the discussion more than if it is a statement. Note that questions like 'What color are your eyes?' or 'Do you like chicken?' don't invite discussion and are called 'Poll type' questions. It is against the guidelines to use MyLot to ask such questions.

i think the post starter want to know what other members thinking about his questions, cause every members have their own answers, and it's interesting if we know a lot opinions about the topic asked

Well, generally it is, since you would like to generate thoughts right? There you go, a question. LOL. A good discussion must start with a good question, an open question that is. People can easily relate when it is a question that applies to everyone or a universal kind of question. But I still see people who does share their experience or show something who does not necessarily post question, a very rare case. But intelligent discussion should have at least a question on it.
