Photos on Calls for Content

I did a few calls for content recently and I tried to use photos from SXC.hu for the articles. Every time one gets published, there is no photo associated with it. I got permission from the ones that required it and I even put multiple photos up for each in case one got rejected. Does Associated Content not accept photos on articles that are accepted under Calls for Content? Any other ideas what the issue might be?

I am not sure why that's happening. I just looked at some of my articles that I submitted for Calls for Content. All of mine had the photos I submitted from either sxc.hu or my own photos. Sorry I can't be of any help!

Just out of curiosity, did you say that they came from sxc.hu or did you just put the name of the person who took the photo? Maybe I should have specified that? One of the photos was from a Press Kit and I did credit it as a press kit so I just don't get it :-/ It's kind of disappointing especially because a couple of the pieces I asked for permission for and they seemed kind of excited that I was going to use it.

The photos I have used from sxc.hu were available without permissions. In the credit field, I typed the user's name to give them credit for it. In the copyright field, I typed http://www.sxc.hu/username.

The same happened to me on my last Call for Content. I did submit the article w/o images, while waiting for permission from the photographer. The permission came before AC accepted my submission, so I went back and edited to add images. When final approval came, the images had been removed. I never did understand why and could find anything on the subject in the forums, but it would have been nice to have added the images. It would have increased my initial views.
