Do You Get Enough Sleep?

I dont think I do. I go to sleep around 10:30 and wake up at 5:40am (it was 5:30 then 5:45 because I kept pushing the time back so i can get more sleep. My bus comes really early at 6:25 and i only live 15min away from school and school starts at 8:00. i dont fee like doing the math of how much sleep i get so just let me know how many hours that is. so how many hours of sleep do you get? do you think you get enough?

To get to work on time, I get up between 3:30 and 4:00 each morning. If I fall asleep before midnight, it's a miracle. On days off, I often sleep 12-15 hours, but I don't think we can really make up lost sleep. When I'm sick, I sometimes get more sleep on weeknights, but one of the ways I can tell if I'm coming down with something is that I start to nod off at various times during the day. That's really frightening! Maybe whenever I retire I'll sleep well?

Wow thats not much sleep. I tend to sleep like a baby when Im sick. I was sick earlier today and went home early and slept pretty good when i got home. Now i might head back to bed.

To be perfectly honest, I'm almost looking forward to the surgery I'm expecting to have next month, so I can sleep! They wake up patients in the hospital, though, to give medicine or to ask if you're asleep!

I am afraid that I do not get enough sleep. I wake up in the middle of the night at around 2 or 3 and I cannot get back to sleep until it is almost time to get up! If my sleep pattern gets messed up it will stay that way for a long time before I am able to get it back. I did not sleep much last night and I took today off of work and slept until 1pm. So I got the kids out of the house by 7:15 and then went back to bed and slept until 1. The only reason I got up then was because I had to pick my youngest son up at school and I had sat my alarm. It kicks my bum when I can't get sleep.

I have those same problems every once in a while. when they come around it last a week. but im grateful when i could go to bed normally.

Once I get it straightened back out again (usually takes a while) I will be good to go for several months but the first time something happens to wake me back up in the middle of the night, there it goes again! I hope you never have the sleep problems that I do.

You're getting around 7 hours! That's not so bad. I went to bed at around 1 am last night watching Craig Ferguson. so I got up around 6:50 too. I only had about 5.5 hours, and I was nodding off in school!

Hi there lanlan011! For the past few weeks, I have had only few hours of sleep. This is because I spend much of my time on my lectures and still manage to go on myLot for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour after that. I get to sleep at around 12 midnight and wake up at around 530AM or 6AM. I try to catch a nap after lunch especially during Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays when my schedule allows me to have at least an hour of nap after lunch.

I thought I didnt get enough sleep. I am grateful now. I can barely function with the sleep I get and If i got less I would be sleep during class all the time.

That's 7 hours and 10 minutes of sleep which isn't bad. Everyone's different. Some people need more sleep and some people need less sleep. I'm the type of person who needs more sleep. On the other, if I've slept a real good 6 hours I can wake up refreshed, but, that doesn't happen too often. Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

I guess I get around 3-4 hours per night. I go for days like that until I just finally crash on a day off for about 14 hours straight. Even though I do that, it seems I never get caught up.

I usually go to bed at 1:00 in the morning and my bus comes at 6:45 and i wake up at 6:30 and thats enough time to take a shower and do everything and im fine through the day and i usually never fall asleep in class.

I honestly think i dont get enough sleep because whenever i wake up, i always feel sluggish and unenergized. I usually sleep really late like 1 am and get up at around 7 am. Some may say that's enough sleep but for me it isnt. During those six hours of sleep there are times when i wake up and then go back to sleep again. Im a shallow sleeper. Even the smallest sound wakes me up.

i usually go to sleep aroud 11:00,and get up at 7 am, i think i get enough sleep. But i always feel so sleepy in the afternoon, i do not know why.

I never feel like I get enough sleep! It's not that I'm not in bed long enough...I just cant sleep well. I hate it! I'm usually ok after I'm up and have showered, but I'm always dragging in the mornings. I usually get 6-7 hours per night, but constantly interrupted due to my inability to STAY asleep.

i have insonmia and i dont think i get enough sleep. but lately i take vitamins name fern-c. it helps a lot like i want to sleep always...lol...

I get enough sleep so far. But my hubby was having the hard time sleeping most of the time. I am pretty concern about it coz it is not good for his health specially that he is working as a computer engineer. His field of work is stressful and enough sleep is needed. But he finds it pretty hard to get a lot of sleeps as he wants most of the time.

no i dont think i get enough sleep. it happens that sometimes i go to bed early say about 11pm and i getup at 7am and sometimes i go to bed late say about 1am and again i get up at 7am. so i really get tired of when i have less sleep and i need to go to bed early in the night. if i sleep more and i get up late in the morning then i happens that i get body pain and hence i just dont do prolong sleep.

I see that other people estimated that for you around 7 hours. And, according to medical professionals, you are getting about 1 hour less sleep than is recommended because it is recommended that you try to get about 8 hours of sleep each night so, 7 hours isn't too bad. As for me, I got through times when I sleep better and more hours than other times. Some nights I might see every hour of the night go by and may end up getting a combined total of a half and hour of sleep. Other nights, I fall asleep at a decent hour, stay asleep throughout the night, and wake up having had 8 hours or close to it. But, those nights are few and far between. I tend towards insomnia and usually get less than 4 hours of sleep each night. Not enough by any stretch of the imagination.

for me ,actually im so confuse about my sleeping, because the problem is i never set the sleeping time regularly...sometime i sleep at 1 to 3 am...and wake up at 7 to 8 am...because i should go to work now..but when i come back home...always sleep first( often around 17 to 18 pm...),the sleep for few hours...wake up again..so tangly ...right? And its always make me headache...
