Which do you prefer English or Tagalog

Our country entering in the world of globalization..My teacher in filipino told me to focus in Tagalog not in English but if you look and open your eyes the marketing blood flows in every industry were English not only English but American English that has accent...You the reader what do you think? English or Tagalog is the best tool in communication..

You need not focus on one, because they're both important. Not one is less important. Don't forget that Filipino is our national language and should never ever be forgotten. It should be loved. English is the international language, we should know how to speak and write in English because it's important in job applications, dealings at work or other people, and other institutions. Your own language and English are the best tools in communication.

Tagalog is our national language and whether you like it or not you will use it and it is our native language.But personally i love more to learn and use English as language for it is an international language that we are using now.It is so very important to know this kind of language and you are right it is the best tool in communicating globally.

I prefer English. But I have fun when I speak in Tagalog though. I am in Cebu so Tagalog is not a common language. My friends and I love to speak in Tagalog even in normal occasions. It is fun. Why don't you try to speak Bisaya in normal occasions too?
