If you were a teen in the 80's then you will remember such movies as Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, The Outsiders, and 16 Candles to name a few. Still to this day I love watching these movies. Even though I have seen them several times, I do not get sick of watching them. To me, these movies seem so much better than the teen movies that are out today. Call me corny, or a goodytwoshoes if you must, but the movies of the 80's seemed more innocent and good hearted than what is showing today. They just dont make them like that anymore.!

I love Three O'Clock High. Just can't get tired of it... Jerry Mitchel x Buddy Revell is a classic grudge!

Breakfast Club, Fast Times a Ridgemont High, The Outsiders, Porkys, Ferris Buellers Day Off, Risky Business, The Karate Kid, Footloose and Flashdance are some of my absolute FAVOURITE movies!! My daughter is really into the movies of the 80s too so whenever one is on I watch them all over again with her....She really loves the Karate Kid movies, Breakfast Club and Ferris but she likes plenty of other ones as well.

I loved the Outsiders, Grease, Dirty Dancing the works. They are classics. I love the way they get to the female sentimental side.

I personally love watching these types of movies. Out of those The Outsiders is definitely my favorite! I enjoy the book as well. Surprisingly I haven't seen Sixteen Candles but I would like to. They really don't make movies like these anymore. I do enjoy a lot of the movies that come out nowadays but it's always nice to revisit previous decades.

I love watching movies that were released back in 1980s. Even most of the movies that I own are from the 80s to the early/mid 90s time period. I don't know why but I love movies from back then. I guess part of the reason is that they seem so much more creative than the movies that they do nowadays. Like all these parody movies nowadays. It was funny when Scary Movie was released. Now it's just getting really old. I love the innocence of those movies as well as you put it. Just take any movie from today involving teenagers or twenty-somethings. I hate the negative stereotypes that movies today portray people my age as. Yes, there are people like that, but good grief, not everyone is like that. Yeah, I'm actually 22 and I prefer movies from when I was a kid than I do movies of today. I miss movies like The Breakfast Club, Weekend At Bernie's, Labyrinth, and so many movies that it would be impossible to name them all. You're right though. They don't make movies like they used to. Sorry for my little rant there though.

I absolutely loved the the outsiders. I also liked the Goonies, and stand by me. I got the movie stand by me so my son and daughter could check it out, and they absolutely love it. They also love Grease, I did to, but that movie came out in like 1978 lol. the year I was born but I did watch it in the 80's.
