I finished reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak last week and thought the book was just great although the beginning was slow for me. Have you read this book? What did you think of it? Did you like it? Did you cry? I cried a few times! Some parts were just too sad. I know many others who cried while reading it too. You can read my review at my book blog too: http://www.booksloveme.com/. If you have reviewed it, do give me your links and I'll visit it. Thanks.

I loved that book! I'm such a book nut, I fully understood her motivations all the way through, while a few of my friends found it far-fetched. Of course, I cried! Books are taking over my house. I live in a very large house, with book shelves everywhere, stuffed to overflowing, and there are still piles of books on the floor in every room. The second floor is floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall book shelves, stacked three layers thick, and still there's no room for everything. I think now and then about getting rid of them, but I can't make myself do it. I even have 2 copies of THIEF!

Well, better a house overflowing with books than no books at all! Maybe for the books that you don't like, you can give them away. I don't necessarily like all the books that I read, so those that I know I would never read again, I'd either give them away or just sell them off. :) But usually, yeah, I keep most of my books!

There are so many at this point, even the thought is overwhelming! There's one stack of books that's very small -- those I haven't read yet. I love that there's such adventure and joy awaiting!

I loved reading The Book Thief. It was wierd at first because I didn't know whose perspective it was from, but I got it eventually. There were some parts that were so sad. I think that the saddest part of the book was the ending part, that's the part where I cried.
