Who thinks this was a good decision? To tell you the truth I was not for the bailout I think it was unfair and partial to a specific group of people and I am glad it has failed. There needs to be hard times so these companys will not think that the government will bail them out every time.

Why are you rejoicing? Do you know the impact that this financial crisis is having worldwide. I think you need to look outside the box. If the U.S.A. Governments can back war why can't they help this sector knowing that there are persons who have been saving and also the poor and needy who has borrow money so that they can be able to have a roof over his/her children head. This crisis is not to be taken lightly. This is a huge mess and I think that they should be thinking with their head and not with feelings. This should have never been denied. Is it that there is no money in the Government draws? Is it that they are feeding the citizens of America lies. Is it that the insecurities that persons has been talking about is really there? My friend instead of rejoicing I would encourage you to look at the mess and the impact that this will be having on each individual. All the best. Kerry

I'm sure not for just sitting and doing nothing and I don't think Bailey is either. There is a lot we should do but giving $700B to the people that caused this problem is not one of them. I say the first thing we need to do is eliminate the cause of this problem and then try to solve it. I say anyone that is in trouble because they had a part in causing this problem should go before our justice system and their businesses allowed to fall. You bet we need to be looking at the mess very closely and making examples out of the crooks that caused it. We sure as heck don't need to be rewarding them.

Man I agree with you 100%.I think the real truth about this $700B bail out is slowly coming out. Like always it is nothing more than a bunch of politicians trying to help the people that can get them reelected. They say to heck with the working man we are going to help those that can help us the most. This is a shame and the people that think that way do not belong in the position of looking after the best interest of the American People. A bunch of people in Washington and in private business need to be put in prison with the other crooks where they belong. There is supposed to be 8,500 banks in this country. I say let the tax dollars help any local bank that has conducted business the way it should be done and has been hurt by these crocked jerks that caused this mess. The people that have gambled and lost regardless of their lever need to fall by the way side. They took the risk trying to be greedy and they lost plain and simple. Don't give that $700B right back to the suckers that caused this mess. If the Government wants to help people give the money directly to the ones that need it. If our local banks can stay healthy we don't have a problem. Most of them already are and don't need anything.
