Do you drink water before going to bed?

I drink water before going to bed. This is my childhood habit. I always have a glass of water before going to bed. I think this helps the body to have some fluid during the sleep. But I don't feel everyone has this habit..Because my hubby does not drink water before sleeping. How about you? Do you drink water before going to bed?

Yes I always drink water before bed, I take pills with it and it helps to keep my mouth from being so dry. I will also get up in the night and drink water. All this comes from getting old.

oh..You are a lovely good friend. But I don't think you too old..By the way, if you are taking pills it is always better to have lots of water to help your body getting dry..

I have to watch out how late I have my last drink of anything. If I drink too late in the night, I will wake up at 4am to urinate. I hate when that happens because then I can't fall back to sleep easily. I do keep a bottle of water on my nightstand and drink it all the minute I wake up from my alarm.

That is true.Drinking water before going to bed is problematic(?) too..It is a good idea to have a bottle aside and quench your thirst whenever necessary.

Yes, often but not always. Water is my therapy and i always make sure I have enough water in my body. Water is very important and we need to always drink water.

You are right. Water is very important for our body and it flushes all the toxins from our system.

I have the habit of drinking before i sleep. I also keep a bottle of water on my bedside table too. I just don't like my throat to be dry and irritating as it disturbs my sleep.

That is a good idea to have a bottle of water beside you during sleeping. You don't have to run for a bottle when your throat gets dry in the midnight.

no I don't drink water right before going to bed. It will only make me visit the toilet and spoil my sleep. But I drink water regularly throughout the day.

yes, I do agree with you. But do you think you will have an urge to urinate more than once in the half way of your sleep ?

If I'm thirsty I will have something to drink, usually milk. That's also what I'll drink if I wake up in the middle of the night. I'll drink a little bit of water after I brush my teeth at night too.

Are you comfortable with the grapejuice at night. I heard that grapejuice if taken at nights will hurt your throat?

Yes, I have this habit of drinking water before going to bed.I just want my throat to have some liquid so it will not dry up when I go to sleep. Odd huh! But only one gulp because I dfont want to wake up just because I want to urinate.

I do have this habit! Since I usually go to bed around 3 or 4 in the morning, I always end up getting thirsty. So, before I lay down, I grab a bottle of water (keeps the cats from spilling it) and set it beside the bed. During the night, I may get thirsty and there will be times when I don't really want to get up. There's no wonder why I run out of bottled water before the end of the week...

amazing..You go to bed around 3 or 4 in the morning? How many hours do you sleep then? Will not your body become too tired?

I am not a water drinker really but you know i think I might try and make that a habit of mine as it does sound very logical to provide your body with fluid before hours of sleep, so ok i am going to start tonight...thank you

I do not drink water before I go to bed, but I do fill a sippy cup with orange juice each night before I go to bed and leave it on my night stand. If I wake up in the night and want something to drink I just reach for my little sippy cup. I use the sippy cup because when it is dark I do not have to worry about spilling anything, like if I had a cup of juice.

That is nice. You have the juice ready by your side. So if you are thirsty at night you don't have to look for something at that time..Good idea.

I drinkg water invariably before going to bed. I feel that water is the most essential of items, which we consume and I must have it, while going to bed. I keep a bottle, besides me and when I get up during night, I take water, as much as I required.

I was told drinking hot water before going to bed reduces excess fat in the body, is it true?
