there are a lot of promises from God to us in the Bible and i cling to these promises but i have this verse that i consider as my life verse and that's Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know my plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." how about you what is your favorite verse in the Bible?

my favorite verse is Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work it with all of your heart as working for the Lord not for man, because you know you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. it is the Lord Christ you are serving." - i use to say this out loud when i get frustrated at work! :)

Wow!!! I like this verse. I have to add this to my lists of verses. Mine is plenty. I like Jeremiah 33:3 " Call unto me and I will answer thee and Show thee great and mighty things which thous knowest not." I like that verse, it really strengthen my faith. And also in Philippians 4:19. " My god shall supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus." it gives me assurance. Prov. 3:5-6.. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding, in all thy Ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths." Good you brought up this. I still have plenty and Bible verse truly give me encouragement everyday. Like what you share today? I don't have it on my list yet. thanks I have to add this.

My favorite is Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. When I was a kid, I was so shy and I printed out this verse and carried it with me. Today, I can speak in front of small or large groups, but I still place that verse in front of me before I speak.

I have too many favorite Bible Verses. Let me list them one by one, The 1st is ISAIAH 43:19 [Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth, I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. The 2nd is PROVERBS 23:18 [For surely there is an end, and thine expectation shall not be cut off]. The 3rd fav verse of mine is in JOSHUA 24:15 [As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD]. The 4th is MATTHEW 5:8 [ Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God]. I can keep saying on and on..but I think this is enough. The Bible is a DEEP OCEAN. We will always find our TREASURES in there. So Keep Looking, You'll Find YOURS!

I think my very favorite one is where Jesus has calmed the storm when in a small fishing boat with the disciples who were fearful over the storm.. when it immediately calmed, the disciples said "whos is this? who can even calm the seas?"
