Do you answer the phone every time it rings?

To be honest, it really depends on a few things. If I'm expecting a call, then sure I'll answer it every time it rings, or I'll try. Sometimes I'll turn off the ringer if I'm busy or something. Do you pick up the phone every time?

Hi there miraclefreebies! If it's the landphone, yes. I will answer each time it rings. But if it were my mobile phones that would ring. I will check if the number is registered, if not, I do think twice before answering. In most cases, telemarketers call me on my two mobile phones. I hate answering such calls. They're such a waste of time. Well, when I am very busy and I really can't take the call, I wouldn't take the call.

At work I answer as many calls as I can but when home...I only answer if I am expecting a call or if I recognize the number. Now we have a do not call list happening in Canada so the annoying telemarketers can't call so maybe I will start to answer again.

Hi miracle, I don't..When it is not registered or it is unknown caller, I will not answer the phone..I don't like to entertain sales people since I am very busy and if ever they are my friends, I am sure they will leave me some voice mail and will just give them a return call after!

If the number is unlisted or unknown to me, I will let the answering machine take the call. If it is someone I know or if I am expecting a call, I will answer it.

I answer everytime the phone rings (landline) and depends if the cellphone rings. Haven't experienced much calls from telemarketers or the like. Now, the phone rings rarely because I had the phone disconnected and transferered to another phone company. Only a few knows the new number. :)

Nope.. I hardly ever answer it as it is usually for my hubby or daughter. Then there are other times I don't feel like talking to anyone on the phone...so I leave it. I know thats not a good thing to do but there are times it drives me nuts.

I have never allowed the phone to dictate life. If we're busy being a family, then the phone can go unanswered. If it's important, the caller will leave a message.
