Question about earnings.

Today i checked my earnings here, and i noticed they were 2,50. 1 cent more than yesterday, but i have not done nothing yesterday. So i clicked in that number. And then saw that my "participation" total is 2,49 My "referral" total is 0.00 and then it says total 2,50. How?
