Is your water safe?

Do you know if your water is safe? Should we feel safe even if the townships that test our water say that it's safe? I often wonder just how safe it is to drink and bathe in. We have a water filter in our kitchen for our drinking and cooking water. How do you know that the filter is really doing it's job? I know of someone who actually uses bottled water to wash her face. She absolutely refuses to wash her face with tap water. Is that taking it a bit too far though? What are your thoughts?

I don't know how true this is but the tap water could have been through at least seven different people.

What? How can that be exactly? It really makes you wonder though doesn't it?

Don't think too hard about it because it will make you shudder. We all need water, in fact we are made of it. Well we are 70% water.

Water is a very sensitive topic for us. Eversince, my parents have been boiling our water. It's the best way to prevent germs and bacteria. For my daughter, we used distilled water at first then later on switched to boiled water also. Of course, we use tap water for taking bath and washing our faces. We are just really sensitive with the drinking water.

Yes, I understand how you feel about it. It's really scary these days. I always tell my kids when they brush their teeth, "don't drink the water". Do you boil all of your water first before you cook or do you boil and bunch and then save it for later?

Our water is generally safe. It used to be so bad and I refused to drink from the tap once I learned how dirty our water was. Now, they say that the water has become good and that is good news for everyone. Cheers!!
