Do You read full discussion before you Respond

I know that this matter has already been discussed time and again and there are different opinion on this. I have studied from the various responses to the discussions at my lot and revealed that most of the people do not read the full discussion and goes on to respond just looking at the title of the discussion and this is the only reasons that some of the important discussions remained unresponsive and are consigned to record. When ever I respond to any discussion I use to read the full discussion and then form my opinion after understanding what the writer want to say and what seek from the members. How about you friends, do you read the full discussion find out the main idea to initiate it and then respond or you casually have a look and respond. I think in some of the discussion, its title speaks of the discussion. Please discuss, comment to lead this discussion further.

Oh these are common here, that people respond by the title alone, As for me I read carefully so I can answer it base on the discussion and sometimes I repeat the wrods of the starter. I really do read it carefully. oh well I remember a time when I posted about favoritism, as you see I have three boys and I call them my favorites, favorite first born is for the first born, second born is favorite dico(a term for second born brother) and for the youngest I call him favorite bunso (or a native for youngest) but then there were those who responded that say I am bad (I can't remember the exact word) because I have favorite.

i cannot make any response or form something in my mind without reading fully what the topic all about. sometimes there are so many questions being ask in a certain thread, although related but some just need separate answers. i always read them well before making my response if it suits my interest and preference.
