We'll everyone today I finally started being a Guide and answering questions to people who are asking away. The thing about ChaCha is that people ask very dumb questions but you get pay for them. Is there anyone here that is a ChaCha guide? How much do you make from that site? Also how many questions do you usually answer during the day? I am getting annoyed with the dumb questions these people ask even thought we are getting pay for them.

I'm not very happy with chacha. While I was taking the test their system went haywire and they wouldn't allow me to retake or finish the test that I had started I don't think that is very responsible for a company to do something like that it was their end where the problem was.

Hi Holv03. I am also a ChaCha Guide. I have not been working ChaCha as much as I should but have earned close to $50 so far. There are some days I do not even log in at all. Yes, I get very annoyed with a lot of the questions some people send in. A lot of people can just be plain vulgar and rude. A lot of the questions come from teenagers and younger people playing around. It has really turned me off from even trying to earn there. I think ChaCha should charge customers a small fee instead of offering the service for free. I think it would cut a lot of the prank calls out. Good Luck with ChaCha and Happy MyLotting!

Hi princerenan. In order to be a ChaCha guide you have to reside in the USA.

I was a ChaCha guide, but found that it was never really worth my time. You would have to type a heck of a lot of question to make it worth your while at .11 each.

Today is my first day and I haven't even been an hour on the site and I have made over $5.00 so far so I hope I could make about $20.00 dollars by the end of the day.

They must be busier than usual. Last time I logged in, I spent about 2 hours on the site and only made $1. Are they still charging crazy fees to withdraw money unless you let your account get to $100?

I work for chacha too but not as a guide. i got the job as an expeditor. i've seen the stupid questions and feel for the guides that have to answer them. i've seen some sick ones too and don't know how i would handle them if i had to answer them. I'm averaging about 65-75 a week with chacha. i love it! we really need the extra money so it's great.

Oh!! really? so, what is the work of the expeditor? I'm interested in that. I applied as a guide and was approved. But I did not pursue to take the test yet. I want to learn more about this before I would go with it. I'm not so sure also of giving my SS# if ever they would ask for it. I have been giving this to some online earnings that I joined and don't want to do another risk. Your earnings is pretty good!! how did you do that? Hope you can share....

I actually want to be a guide for chacha but the thing is i dont know much information about them. Do they accept international members? You see, im from the philippines. Since you're a chacha guide already, you know more information about it than me. I'd also like to know if they have certain requirements before they will accept the person. Any reply will be appreciated. Have a nice day.

The bad thing about ChaCha is that only people who live in the USA could join.

I'm halfway registered with that site. They ask to file a W-9 for you? means you have to give your SS#? For a few extra bucks in exchange for my SS#? No dice. I hope I'm wrong that you need to give your social #? Not too comfortable with that. Goodluck anyways...

I just passed the 1st test to be a ChaCha guide. I've given them all my information. Now I'm studying for the simulator part of the test. Can you or anyone give me any advice in regards to the simulator test? I would really appreciate it. Thanks. Lloyd

I want to thank all of you for those helpful tips. I'm going to continue studying today and tomorrow and take the test either Friday or Saturday. Other than studying the video on how to answer a querie, are there other parts of the knowledge base that are beneficial in helping with the simulator test. I've read the 25 page Guide Book 2 times and will be reading it once again before I go to bed tonight. Lloyd

The simulator test is the easiest one. If you watch the video before the simulator test its basically that. Just answer the 10 questions they send you and if you answer the questions good then you will get an e-mail in 2 to 4 days saying your results.

A little helpful tip: Make sure you read everything in Knowledgebase. Watch the videos. Write things down you may think you need to look at if you can't remember. Take studying for the simulator test as if you were in school studying for the final exam.

I applied to chacha and my application as a guide was approved but I did not take he test yet. I am not sure if the test is just easy for me to pass or what? ould you tell me some information about how hard or easy the test could be? I did not answer back the chacha since they sent me the approval letter and wants me to take the test. I ignore it but plan to go back there when I have enough information about how could I pass the test.

I applied a few weeks ago but never heard from them. That's ok tho because I've been busy with other online programs. If I hear from them, I may try it but if I don't, it's not the end of the world. Happy lotting.

They will ask dumb questions. In your handbook, it mentions what questions are NOT okay to answer. You make .10 per answer, and if you make top guide, it bumps you up to .20. I see that you are a Guide that you read everything in the Knowledge base? Usually, asking an expert guide to help you would go a long way. Usually, they'll tutor you on how to handle tough questions. Good luck!!

Try to use reverse psychology, instead of getting annoyed by those dumb questions, tell yourself that "every question counts"lol..well.. What is that chacha guide? what kind of site is that? do they pay well? May i try to join? thanks

I heard about ChaCha and thought that I would really like to join. I seem to be a pretty outgoing person and would love answering questions for people so it seemed like a perfect fit. Then I did a little more research and saw that a lot of people weren't getting paid as they were supposed to. I didn't really want to chance putting in all my hard work for nothing, I have better things to do with my time!! So good luck on the site, I hope that everything goes great for you and you make a lot of extra $$$!!! Please keep me posted about your earnings and if they pay like they promise because if so I would be interested in joining myself! Have a great day!

i checked that site out a couple of months ago, and REALLY wanted to join it. i could certainly use the extra money, and i enjoy doing searches for stupid/odd things to answer lol! but..you have to have a high speed connection..and i only have dial-up. so a no go for me..huge bummer.

I keep hearing this site being mentioned on here and did have a quick look into it. I would like to get involved myself but is it only US residents that can take advantage or as i'm a british citizen can I take part? Very intrigued as to what you get asked?
