dear friends.
i was going thru one piece of literature where the learned doctor mentioned diabetes as the silent killer.
he really meant that people who are aware of their diabetic condition are the luckier ones, since they can take steps to control it!!
while among the first timers 70 percent or more may not be aware of their problem!!
and come to know when it is too late!!
are you one such person??
take care...

No, but it does run in my family (dads side) so I have to be careful of it. I get myself tested every couple of years.

I can truthfully say that I don't have diabeties. I've been tested for the illness. Although it really doesn't run in our family, you just never know.

kushank55 yes there are alot of diabetics out there
'that dont know they hve the disease. so it pays for
everyone to have a blood gloucose test done at least once
or twice a year, and to learn the symtoms of diabetes.
a huge thirst, loss of weight, blurring eyes, going to the
bathroom just too many times, pain in your feet, sharp
jabbing pains, and hunger all the time. these should make'yhou hurry to your doctor to be checked for diabetes.Diabetes can
be a silent killer but only if you dont have regular checkups to catch it.
