Who spends more in your family

Iam the only one who is making money in my household so I would say that I am spending the most money.

I do all the shopping for my whole family.So, I spend more when I go for shopping.I prefer buying a good quality and a good looking dress or an other thing even if it is little costlier.If I go for the cheaper one it does not satisfy me and not even my family.Its always better to spend less and save more.But now,if we spend less then we should definitely spend more in buying the same things in the future...

I totally have to disagree with you on that one. If my husband has money, it is gone by the end of the day. We put all of our money direct deposited into our checking account. I give him an allowance for the week and the rest goes to paying for the bill, groceries and savings. When he goes with me for groceries, we always go over the budget! He is much worse at spending than I am. So I would have to say it just depends on the couple you are talking about. Some men are better with the money and other woman are better.

In my family, it's a little different. Both my mum and my dad spends about equal in terms of the amount of money; my mum spends mostly on shopping at supermarkets and doing the home groceries, and my dad spends mostly on the home bills (electricity, water, phone) and on his hobbies including cameras, watches and so on. All in all, they spend about the same amount of money for their daily routines. Also, they have separate bank accounts and they spend their own money basically. So both my parents operate separately but overall the spending is for the whole household....it's sort of a give and take situation I guess....

I am the one who spend the most at home! I disagree with that statement because I believe the spending habit of a person differs not because of their gender. I am a male and I spend a lot of money (the thing is, I have no idea where my money goes to), thus, that statement is not accurate. I do know of girls who are very thrifty and don't spend much, and guys who spend a lot on things such as hair products and clothings and so on.

Nice question !! Although this differs from person to person based on the role one plays in a family. I spend a lot in my family I mean in the unnecessary things that are not really required lolz !! Although if you take into account the financial needs of the family it would be my father coz he has got the responsibility of running the family :P
