I'm p*ssed. How do you handle spam messages?

Recently I have been getting a lot of spam messages here. I don't mind receiving one every now and then. But it really annoys me when I keep getting the same offer.Most of them don't even have my name! And my internet connection is very slow so it takes a long time to check my PM. Therefore, when I see a spam message, I get annoyed.
This is to my "friends" who have never sent me a personal message.
Never send me an offer if you haven't even sent me a personal message. I'll reply with my spam message. I have never spammed anyone here but when I receive a message like this, I will reply with my spam message.
I'll say how great my programs are and all bullsh*t depending on my mood.
Please don't spam me or you will get this sh*t. If I get really annoyed, I will double my spam messages.
Those of you who have sent me personal messages won't have this problem. I know we are real friends who are trying to share some information and do some promotion from time to time.
OK.. how do you handle spam messages?

If you have people on your Friends list who are sending messages you don't want, there's a very simple answer.
1) Reply saying that you didn't allow them to be 'friends' just so they could send you unwanted and unsolicited offers
2) Delete them
3) Think how, in future, you will decide who you add to your Friends list

I hear you! I had to tell one off not long ago. Obviously not been reading my discussions that I will NOT be joining any more sites.
I also suggesred that others might even report for spamming - but I don't know why I bother because these sort do NOT listen, I had warned about not doing a certian type of non-discussion but to no avail.
I might do like you next time too!

I didn't want to do it but I had run out of ideas. They need to know how annoying spam messages are.
They can always create a "discussion" but they choose to spam.

Hello curiousman,
That's a real shame if people are spamming you I can see how you would get so annoyed, I've never really had that on Mylot but there's still time.
I personally would delete them from my friends list and in future I would be more selective of who I added...
