Annual checkup - bad news

I went for my checkup. Had not had any for a while because I thought that by eating healthy and exercises I would be protected. But I learned I had something not in my favor. I never was able to nurse my only child and was never able to give birth to more after my marriage and adopted my two babies too late for me to attempt breast feeding and my menopause came late. Now had I had a family history, I could have taken steps, as I did with my family history of heart attack and diabetes, but what do you do with something that you might have and I am certain if I do have it, it will be chop chop and I will be flat on one side. Trust me, I have that kind of bad luck. And it came suddenly. It was not slow growing. Sort of like my mother's galloping stomach cancer. It was there just like that. I feel as if someone or a whole lot of people whom I knew in the pass got together and put a curse on me and are punishing me. I am a Christian and I know God will help me, so could you pray that if anyone cursed me, HE would remove that curse and HE would also make sure that the news is not bad and they do not have to chop chop and make me flat on one side. (I did not want this to be put in the bad interest section.)

I will pray for you, but sometimes what we go through is not a curse, but a trial.Remember when Paul said to be thankful when going through tribulations..Plus this just might be a testimony for you to tell..:)

Yes tell others that if they are bad during their youth, that the result does not appear until years later, you reap what you sew, you have to pay the piper. That is the only result I see if it is bad news. At least Paul's ill health became because he was beaten up when he preached the good news. I am like that thief on the cross who asked Christ to remember him when HE came into HIS kingdom.

I was a bad girl when I was in my teens and twenties, so in essence I am in the situation that resulted from my behavior. However, I had 'friends' who decided not to forgive me, society at that time felt that girls like me had to be punished, and as a result, I am sure there were some of them who said in their hearts "I hope you get what you deserve" And what I did was a sin of the body, that is much more serious then if I had stolen something and then converted, asking God for forgiveness. But I will fight this thing. I mean I already been unable to bear a child during my marriage. I do not want to have my br*st removed or be cancerous because I was unable to nurse. Why punish me twice?

Well the thief was on that cross becuase he did something wrong, not because of a curse..And as for Paul, yes he was persecuted for teaching the gospel, but he was really bad before meeting Christ. So whether you know for sure that it is a curse or something you did, I would just pray about it and be thankful, I know that is hard to put into action, but it says to come into His courts with Thanksgiving..

I am a Christian as well, I believe that sense I am a child of God that even if someone tried to put a curse on me. It would not work, he would protect me from a curse. As he protects all his Children. I will pray that you do not have cancer, but if you do. Then this too is part of Gods plan. Not some evil doer.

I often wonder because I have been praying for the salvation of my family members and so far, it has not worked. I hope I do not have cancer, it would be a result of my former bad behavior and I already got infertile because of that and to have this put on it would hurt me most.

I do not quite understand you did not say if something was wrong. What was found? I had a mammogram a couple of months ago and they had to repeat it 3 times and then gave me a sonogram. At was all done on the same day so I did not have time to think of the what ifs or maybes but I was still scared. I just prayed and it turned out to be a benign node. So I will pray for you just let me know what I'm praying for?

Just pray that the tumor is benign in my br*st and it is not cancerous. It came quickly, so I do not know if that is indication. And I have had bad luck in the last while.

I just said a prayer for you for health and peace. God's love is more powerful than anyone's curse. When will you know for sure?

It is my br*st that I am concerned about. The other cancers do not concern me, except that cervical kind, both the br*st and the cervical kind are caused a lot by bad behavior. I mean if you slept around a lot, you are at a higher risk of getting cervical cancer and if you had abortions (not in my case -miscarriage in the first month(( and did not nurse (my case) and your menopause started late (my case) so it is part of your behavior. At least when mom got stomach cancer, there was an excuse, the war was on and there was rationings.

I will get a mammogram on Monday. I might not know the tests right then, and I will probably have to go back for the biopsy, but in the meantime, I will look and see if there are any foods that will reverse the cancer. Most of what I heard is for the colon cancer but if there is something that will get it down and get it to disappear, I will try that and I will also pray like crazy.

Understood. The Word of God says that we are no longer under the curse. As a matter of fact it proclaims that we have the blessing of Abraham. What was that blessing do you remember? "I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you." God I pray right now in the name of Jesus, our healer, that you remove the curse from my friend. God that you restore to her those things the enemy has taken. God that you fulfil your promise that you will "Heal all my diseases". God your words say that "By his (Jesus') stripes we have been healed" Amen! Suspense, hear is my scripture that I hold on to. I want you to read this and begin to hold tight to it. Psalm 112 1 Praise the LORD. Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who finds great delight in his commands. 2 His children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. 3 Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. 4 Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for the gracious and compassionate and righteous man. 5 Good will come to him who is generous and lends freely, who conducts his affairs with justice. 6 Surely he will never be shaken; a righteous man will be remembered forever. 7 He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. 8 His heart is secure, he will have no fear; in the end he will look in triumph on his foes. 9 He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor, his righteousness endures forever; his horn will be lifted high in honor. 10 The wicked man will see and be vexed, he will gnash his teeth and waste away; the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.

Thank you. I have a lot of bad things happening, part of it as the result of what happened in my youth and my twenties. I thought that I was healed physically from the things that went wrong. It is getting so that God would just take me before anything worse happens. So I would need your prayers so i do not get br*st cancer. A heart attack I can take, but that no.

Thank you. I am afraid of disfigurement. I see nothing to be proud of - the pink ribbon - etc. but I do not like the idea that the pesticides and the herbicides and what we stored our food in contributed to this. I have started to heat my food in oven tempered glass but do not know if that will do any good as it is too little too late. I will have to look up that verse. I think it is in one of the Psalms but do not know which one.

I went on the net and I have a one and a half percent chance of getting br*st cancer, but then because I had an illegitimate baby when I was seventeen, I figured I had just a low a chance of being infertile, so I might be that rare individual, that one in a million, anyway I pray that the tests come out negative and it is just a thickening and not cancerous. I will keep praying and increasing my faith that God will heal me.

suspenseful, this is shocking to me. do you remember I mentioned in one of your discussions that it seems cancer runs in my family so I would most likely end up with one? is this cancer or are they not sure yet? you only said it's not slow growing I am hoping it's not cancer seriously but even if it is cancer, it's a disease not a curse I heard curse can only work if you have wronged someone well who in this world hasn't wronged anybody anyway all you need to do is get treatment and I still hope it's not cancer

I was a shock to me, because I expected something else to be wrong. And to me, it seemed as if my past had caught up with me. I hope it is not that God has to use this to get my husband to repent. I hope and pray it is not cancer. I do know that God will look after me. I thank you for your prayers and may not know until after Monday if then.

You are a strong woman, suspenseful, and I am sure you will be up to whatever it is you have to deal with, but I will keep you in my prayers all the same. Life is so uncertain that we never know from one day to another how our world will be turned upside down. If you ever need someone to talk to I am here for you. All my best.

Thank you for your prayers. I am doing all I can to reverse the cancer if it comes to that without surgery. I mean if it is, I can wear a wig because my hair will grow back, but if they remove my br*st, that can not be regrown.

That's horrible news. You are in our thoughts here. I agree with everyone else here, do whatever keeps you alive. Don't worry about the change. You will adapt and be alive at least. That is really all that matters. Take heart.

I hope it is just a benign tumor. I was not expecting this as I am at a low risk of getting the disease. I had expected that I would have diabetes, high blood pressure and a heart condition, but this. I am trying to see what I can do to reverse it without surgery.

Thank you for your prayer. I do hope it is not cancer. You know it make me feel between a rock and a hard place. If I were small bone, I would be at great risk of getting osteoporosis, but I am large boned, so I am a greater risk of getting cancer , heart condition, diabetes. I can't win. I will also pray for you that your move is successful and that you gt out before the eviction and that it will be an easy move, you will not lose or misplace any of your stuff, and nothing is broken. I also pray that your friends and relatives will get your new address right.

I'm so sorry to hear that you annual check up didn't go well. I understand you must be very concerned and upset my your news. Have you actually had a diagnosis confirmed or is it something they are saying they want to investigate further. Having children and nursing or not won't necessarily make as much difference in this as you might think, it is often one of those things that i liable to occur no matter what you do, so please don't torture yourself with what ifs. I hope that after further investigation the diagnosis won't be as grave as you're thinking. I won't lie and say you'll be in my prayers as i'm not a religious person, although i'm glad you have your faith to draw strength on, but you will be in my thoughts. xxxx

As we get older obvioulsy our chances of developing certain conditions gets higher, but that doesn't mean to say everyone will get these conditions. Am still hoping for you that it will be benign, but if the worst comes to the worst there may well me non surgical avenues that they can try, if you have only noticed the lump recently then hopefully nothing nasty will have had very long to develop before it's caught andthey stop it in it's tracks! Stay positive. You're in my thoughts xxx

I gather that you are going tomorrow Monday Oct 6 for a mammogram and that you haven't had one yet. Since June I have had to have 2 mammograms and 2 sonograms on my right bre@st because of a mass. But I decided not to worry until the Dr said there was something to worry about. Any way the last sonagram came back negative. I know that it's hard not to worry but it is all in God's hands. I doubt that any one has put a curse on you because a lot of woman have a past like yours that haven't gotten bre@st cancer. There is a group of Christians that live a very healthy life style and some of them still get cancers and other illness. They just have a lower instances of life threatening illness. It happens to the best of people. God says it rains on the just and the unjust alike. keep praying and there are others that are praying with you and for you.
