My suggestion would be to not go near a Mcdonalds and substitute more leaner foods, I used to eat mcdonalds alot as well, I lost alot of weight since I stopped eating mickey D's, the key is eating more lean protein and exercise. Also eat salad as it is calarie free and it makes you full.

Force yourself to go a month without it. I know it won't be easy. But, my wife and I did it and now their food tastes terrible.

Seriously? Watch the movie Supersize Me. I used to eat McD's like a pig, and I saw that movie when it first came out. Haven't been back since.

Mcdonals - all of this is so not for you. STAY AWAY
you should chnage your eating habit, eat more fruit and vegtables, mcdonal salads or just stay clear away. eat more subway.

we used to go to Mcdonalds a little too often. Now instead when I think we need to eat out we usually go to subway and have a nice healthy sandwich instead of a greasy burger.

Got to the grocery and buy some turkey burger patties and everything else you WOULD eat if you went to McDonalds and make a healthier version of what you'd get.

When I'm dieting and get a craving for McDonald's, I go thru the drive-thru and order one regular hamburger. I take it home to eat so that I don't get tempted by having other food around me to order something more. I've found that this gets me thru the crisis.

Not an easy task. Maybe you should try to go there and buy double or triple what you usually buy and force yourself to eat it all. I think you might not want to go back there again for a while

i have a weakness for mcdonalds too. especially their sundae, fries, and chicken. my suggestion is that you don't buy any softdrinks and have water instead.

I know how that is, McDonalds is not my weakness but fried foods, sweets and carbs are. A big whammy for me there.. I try to just not let myself buy any of that but it's hard, I do know. If you need to drive somewhere and know of a McDonalds on the way, could you find an alternate route?

All you can do is force yourself to look away. And keep telling yourself how much money you will save if you cut out fast food. Calculate how much you spend on McD's in a month. You'd be surprised at how much you're spending. Good luck on cutting McD's out of you diet.

Don't deprive yourself. Just pull back a bit and go there in moderation. How often do you go there now? I suggest you reduce the number of meals there slowly. Substitute some meals with other foods like maybe a Subway sandwich? or whatever else you like that might be better for you. Have you seen that guy, Jared?, on the Subways commercials? He supposedly changed to a diet of Subway sandwiches and lost a huge amount of weight. You know, a little moderation will go a long way. Best of luck. BTW, exercise like running does wonders too;)
