I shop online because I get the cheaper prices ,deals and sometimes even free shipping. Some of the deals are just not in stores so I use promo codes too to do my online shopping. You can check out my website where I do all my shopping...It really has been more money back in my pocket and I get more for my buck Do you prefer online or in store shopping and why?

I am not use to shopping online , i like it more to go shopping personally since i can get to choose a lot of brands and i can compare. I really like to see everything that i am paying for unlike in online shopping it is very hard to tell if it is really good or what .

I do a good amount of my shopping online, especially for items I CAN'T buy second hand. For example, I'm buying seeds and young plants because I'm going to be growing a good portion of our food next year and selling food and wares as well. Some of the things, since they're harder to kill varieties sometimes for harsher climates or other countries, can't be found AT ALL locally, or cheap in magazines, so I have to look around online for some deals. And I often find them =) Right now, I'm trying to get some soybean seeds, blackberry seeds, and dwarf banana seeds (this last one is of the few things I'll be growing inside all year 'round). Books, are another thing I tend to look for. I adore books and find a majority of them at flea markets and book sales from libraries, but sometimes I have a book I need or really want but can't ever find and I tend to use paperbackbookswap.com or amazon (since I regularly get giftcards for that website for online work I do). I actually really dislike shopping in regular stores, especially mass distributors like Walmart. I do as much as I can with flea markets, church sales, garage sales, book sales, plant sales...anything involved with just regular people selling things, like ebay and other people's regular businesses online (like mail order nurseries)...and only go to regular stores if I don't have much other choice.

I check both and go where my money goes the furthest. I try to take the cost of gas into consideration as well. I do a lot of online shopping around Christmas time. It is much easier to hide things from the kids when it comes in a box instead of buying it at the store with them there.

I do buy stuff online but most of time it is second hand, then it is cheaper. But new stuff is usually not cheaper here, because of the postal costs. And I do prefer to try on clothing first before I buy it. Plus that groceries cannot be bought online here, unless they are canned goods, but they cost a lot more

Sometimes I will order clothes and if they dont fit they usually ship back no cost on my part. Second hand stuff can be great too..lot great vintage stuff out there. I havent tried the groceries yet but I would like to try it. We have a lot of 99 cent stores that are actually cheaper on the fruit and veggies than the major stores.

I haven't tried online shopping. But I think the advantage of online shopping it's hassle free, you don't need to personally go to the mall just to buy the things you need. But the disadvantage is... there are items look good in photos but it's different in personal.

I prefer to shop in the store. For one even if the price is less than in the store you still have to pay shipping. I know they have deals where you can get free shipping but you usually have to spend a certain amount like $50 and that's more than I would spend even at the store. Plus if it's clothes I can try them on and just in general I can actually see and touch something before I buy it.

I can see how you want to try the clothes on. You know you make a good point because some clothes are cut different. A large might actually fit like a medium so I see what you mean.

hi goldenapple I shop online as I am handicapped and this is the easiest way for me to get my groveries delivered as Ihave a bad arm. It is hard for me to carry heavy sacks of groceries. I love the convenience, and its worth the ten dollar charge to get my food delivered to my home.

I love online shopping - especially for books! It's also exciting to look forward to something coming in the mail - and so easy to do, without having to go out in traffic and trawl around horrible malls. I'm not sure it's always cheaper, as there are postage costs - but the convenience outweighs the small charge. As soon as we can buy groceries online in my area, I'll be in it - can't imagine anything better than to have your groceries delivered, as supermarkets are the bane of my life!

I also shop for book online..college books are always cheaper versus buying them at the college book store. Any kind of book actually you can get up to 70 percent off so why not? I enjoy that very much too. Getting stuff delievered to your door is pretty awesome I must agree.

I have never shop online but if I could I would because it would be easier faster and cheaper and I don't need to leave home for it. But here in my country it is not yet popular, so I might end up in the conventional store LOL. Maybe if I live in another country where the technology and the people are more advanced than here, I might end up being at home full time because I can go anything from the internet. LOL. I wish. LOL

It is faster and easier. Because the gas is so expensive over here right now it is a great reason why we try to save where we can. You are right about being home full time...lol.... it can be addicting. Great week to you..

there is a lot to select from and then easy to compare them and home delivery and save fuel. all these and many more make the online shopping a great experience but i mostly enjoy shopping in store as i can easily see and get a feel of the quality and then determine if it is worth paying for or not. both are good and it depends on what i want to buy and if i have got a range to choose from in my local store or not than go online shopping!
