I'm just playing guitar for 2 months. I'm very interested in playing guitar but last two months, i just buy the first guitar after saving my money. It is Kapok Brand. I have buy a book on how to play guitar. After two months training, i think i don't have talent in playing guitar. The basic chord like G, Bm and etc. are so difficult to me. Seeing my friends play guitar make my desire burning again. The problem is, they don't want to share their knowledge with me. So, i decided to learn with my own way. Could someone give me some tips, how to mastering a guitar? can you share your first time in playing guitar? or give me some example of easy song that i can play?

i started playing a guitar since i was in elementary at the age of 12 i guess. at first i am not confident having that skill. then later on i decided to really practice, practice and practice so i can play many songs. until now, too bad to say that its been a long since i learned how to play the instrument but it seems i can say that i am not yet a master of guitar. Please give me a advise... need to cheer up my attitude..

Hey there!! Finally, someone talks about playing the guitar. Ready carefully.,,. three and a half years ago I was like you. I was struggling to learn how to play the guitar, But now I'm playing like a pro. Though I don't have a band, but I play on my own. I play guitar freestyle way now. I've been doing front acts in our school whenever there's a program and I always get a roar of applause from my audience. Watch these guys on YouTube.com to know what I'm talking about: Justin King, Trace Bundy, Andy McKee, Don Nelsson, Tommy Emmanuel. Along the way of your learning how to play the guitar, you will hear the terms: tapping, harmonics(both hard and soft harmonics), sweeping, fast picking, and many other terms.. Don't mind those terms yet. lets get to your learning. Read the book that you have. If you have an instructional DVD much better. Those two alone are enough for you to learn fast. Do finger exercises. It will help you move your fingers faster. Always think that you can, Boost your Morale. If they can, you can do it too. Take it one step at a time. after you've learned strumming try plucking and finger picking. You can use Tabs, that can found on the internet, so you just have to follow it and make it sound right. These are the easiest chords that I know.. from Madonna's "crazy for you" A , E , F#m , D. That's all. very easy. One thing you have to learn before playing guitar, if not the first thing you have to learn, is to tune your guitar. Now I don't have time to teach with that one. LOL. You have three thing to remember: 1. Practice. 2. Practice. 3. Practice. That's all. 'Hope that helps. Happy posting!!

Dude there's only one thing you have to remember..PRACTICE. If you wanna like the band you love you have to take one step at a time. Skill don't just come there are well crafted and by time you'll notice the difference. Learn to paly the chords first. The placing of the chord. Learn how to strum and pick. Learn how to move betweeen chord and so on.These are a few basic thing to practice within these few month. Once you know how to mive around the fretboard then you learn the scale. From there you learn the solo and how create a solo. Learn harder makes you rocks harder.peace man.
