I was so ready for fall and the cooler temperatures. I love bing able to open the windows up also and let the house air out. I need to buy some new fall clothes too. I amy be able to later this month. I'm not sure with Christmas coming up though.

I wish! I am from Ohio and sure miss the change of seasons! Here in California - it's all the same except for the heat waves we get in the summer - which are getting more often and hanging around longer! But there is no real "change" to the seasons out here - people wear shorts and sandles and tank tops year round. THen of course complain when they are walking through rain water in the winter and can't understand why their feet are getting wet! And light weight coats if any. I sur emiss those beautiful colors of the trees changings. All the do out here is turn brown and fall off!

Wow I didn't know you were from Ohio. So am I. What a coincident. I love California. I have 2 good friends in Ca. One in Sandeigo and one from Pomona. I can't wait to go back and It might be real soon I hope. Are you lucky the weather there is always good in Ca.

No, it isn't nice that it is always hot and smoggy here. And dusty - the construction, the traffic, the freeways -to much dust! It is always hot even in the winters, granted no as hot as summers, but so much building and so much stuff to absorb heat all day long that in the sumemr it takes till around 10pm for things to cool off! The sun goes down, but allt he building and asphalt and concrete and all absorve heat all day long and it takes awhile after the sun goes down for it to all evaporate!
Oh, we get a cool day here and there that might need a little heavy coat - but only in the mornings - come afer noon it heats up again and you have to carry the coat. My GD in school - she has to weat the coat in the mornings, but then deal with it all day and haul it home in the afternoons! No, I can't stand california, wish I could go back to Texas!!! or Columbus!!

Fall! I'm SOoooooooo not ready for it lol. I love the season, the colors of the landscape and all that, but I just can't stand the cold already...and it's not even winter yet! I wish it would quit raining so I could finish up that last little bit of my windows projects. I got them all caulked, and I just need to slap some paint on the frames yet...it's just too cold and wet to finish it up. I finally got my plants all back in, except for these 3 monster sized orchid plants. (I need help with those! They weigh a ton!) These orchid plants need to be outside during the summer, and when fall sets in they have to stay outside until the temp gets around 45 or they won't blossom next spring. I'm so thankful that my kids help me get all this stuff done, it'd be hard to do it all alone anymore!

It does feel like fall here today. I'm ready to pack away the summer clothes and pull out the sweaters and jeans. I love this time of year, specially a cool, sunny fall day. It always brings to mind the Texas State Fair, going on now, usually it was cool when we went, and Friday night football games. Of course we really didn't have a hot summer here this year, so it wasn't too bad, but I am ready for Fall.

Well I shop during Off Season sales. I mean I shop for summer when eand of season is on and I shop for wintrs when winter off season sale is on. I usually end up gettig good deals on even most expensive items. At times shop owners are ready to sell the pieces at half the price. If you go just as it starts you get even the colors of your choice. So I have been ready for almost eight months now for the coming winters. Just thought of sharing this tip with you too.

The weather is becoming cooler,and gives me obvious feeling that fall is in .At night it is a little cold to sleep without quilt.But when I come out ,the leaves have no change ,the sunshine is still warm in the afternoon.I like fall .

I am looking forward to seeing what fall is like where we live. It was rather cool (as in cold) up north. Now that we are more south it will be interesting to see how it is. I hope I can save on the heating bill. That would be a plus.

No, I' no happy that the fall is here. That means winter is soon to come? Oh!! my goodness!! I hate the cold. I love to see the leave falling it's cute!! but thinking of the cold months? I really don't like it. It means, more coats, boots, gloves,etc? Scarf? it makes me feel awful when I shiver outside.. grrrrrh Good for you, you like it. good luck.

Oh God,i really can feel the fall season, it makes me freezing every night. I have few warmers, jumpers and coats but i need some more. I am still looking the best place to shop as it's so expensive. We going to have shopping on weekends on downtown wish i can find nice and cheap boots and coats. So i can keep myself warm. Happy posting.
