Uh... does Associated Content normally pay LESS THAN $3.00 per article????

I've written 4 articles on AC, all have received upfront payment of $3.00 or more. And not only that, every review and person even says they pay $3.00 and above. I just published my 5th article and got paid $2.61??? What's up with that?
And no nothing's wrong with the article. It's actually about something very interesting.
Is this something new that they're doing? Has anyone else received less than $3.00 writing for them?

i have written 4 articles but still waiting for it to be published. i hope they will pay me. coz i am not a us citizen someone told me that they only pay me with the views of my articles.

That's what I know also, you'll be paid per view of your article and it's not even 1 cent. Associated Content is just a waste of time. Triond pays much better per view and there's no threshold. Actually, there is but it's only 25 cents. That means, if you've reached $.25 within the month, it will be credited to your PayPal account.
