How cautious are you when peeing in public rest/comfort rooms?

Hi everyone! As much as possible I prevent myself from peeing in public comfort rooms unless I really have to pee. I don't know but I just feel uneasy peeing in public toilets. It's not that they're unclean or gross but I'm just too cautious from getting germs or anything like that. When I am inside malls and in case I can't control it and I have to pee, I make sure that the water closet is clean and the water flowing in it is clean too otherwise I will look for another water closet that's clean enough to me or I will not take a pee and just hurry home. I also don't sit on the bowl when I'm peeing in public C.Rs. I don't like the feeling of my skin or buttocks touching the bowl. Though its white and clean, I still think its not clean enough not like our own water closet in our house. How about you guys? What do you feel when peeing in public comfort rooms? If you still can control it, would you rather pee in a public C.R or not? Are you cautious when peeing in public comfort rooms?

Personal hygiene is very important. But holding the urge of nature is not healthy too. You shouldn't have direct skin contact on the bowl seat. You should place some tissues paper on top of the seat, as a layer protection. It's best you could buy some plastic bowl seat wrapper when you are out. For me, if no tissue or paper is available, I will just put my legs on top of the toilet bowl.

Yeah I know it's bad to hold the urge to pee that's why before going out I go the bathroom first so I won't pee when I am outside. That is a good idea, putting tissue paper on top of the seat for protection. Thanks for sharing!

It's very important. We could avoid being infected by STD or other scary skin disease. So, I always keep this practice. Either put a layer of paper/plastic or squad on top of the bowl (instead of sitting on it). It would be troublesome if we got infected by skin disease in the public toilet. Who knows the previous user is the disease carrier?

I can not stand using public bathrooms!!! As a matter of fact I do not use them unless I am traveling a long distance but I still hold it for as long as possible. They are not clean to me, it is very uneasy having to use a unknown restroom... I never sit on the toilet and also will not use it unless the water is clean but I am still afraid also of the water somehow splashing or anything of that nature. They also say that you are supposed to close the toilet seat before flushing because when you flush, the particles or whatever you want to call it travel many feet into the air. That is soooo nasty! First off if there is a toilet seat on their toilet, I do not want to toutch it but on most there are not!

Yeah me too. I also don't want to touch the toilet seat even if I use a tissue paper. Sometimes I just use my feet if I have to close it and flushing. I get that yucky feeling if I touch it. But I didn't know that when we flush the particles or germs travel in the air. Thanks for the info. I will remember to close the toilet seat when I flush. Keep posting!

I'm glad I have a strong bladder. I don't pee in public too often because it's just uncomfortable for me. I don't carry bleach around with me so I can't scrub the seat, and I don't carry incense with me either so I can't kill the funkey odor that often comes from an unclean stinky bathroom. Then again, even if I could or did carry around such things, I still couldn't bare any part of the meat on my butt to touch that stinky toilet seat. Crabs, worms or maggots could crawl up my hole.Yuk!

I don't feel that restrooms are cleaned often enough or well enough. Some of them can be disgusting while others look clean but are they really? You never know who's sat on the toilet in there. That said, I usually squat over the toilet to pee, never sit on the seat. If I can hold it long enough I'll wait until I'm home. I'd rather pee outside than sit on a public toilet seat.
