When you make your items do you sell them? if so for about how much? b/c i have a couple of people who want me to make them a blanket.. and that's no problem but i don't know what to charge them!! so any ideas? if so.. do you charge for your materials or just making the blanket?

the crochet items i make are usually gifts. i asked a friend who use to sell quilts and he would sell the quilt for 200% of the cost of materials. which believe it or not is relatively cheap because i am told most quilts (i would thinkg knitted and crochet items qualify too) are usually sold at 500% of their total cost of materials. you can choose whatever price you want. just make sure you are at least covered for the cost of materials.

Try checking e-bay for items see how much the seller sells them, just get some ideas from there. then you can decide on how much you can charge them.
