What Do You Consider Before Starting A Discussion In Mylot?

These are basic and good consideration before starting a discussion. Other than what you mentioned, you should consider at first, wether it violates the TOS of Mylot. Besides, offensive or not is very important, because you might receive many negative response from offended Mylot users. For me, I do not prioritize so much wether it is attractive or not. From my experience, it really depends on other people's view. Sometimes, you might think that a discussion is attractive, but end up failed to attract much attention. I had started experimental discussion which I thought would be boring but surprisingly, it got lot of responses from other Mylot users!

Hi there okwusman1! Prior to starting a discussion here at myLot, I consider a lot of things. First and foremost, I just do not start a discussion unless I feel like it. In most cases, I only start a discussion when I have something to share. When I have the topic to work on, I make sure that it is not just interesting to me but also for other members here. I also make sure that I do not violate any of the rules and regulations here at myLot.

I simply start any discussion when I feel that other members can contribute to the ideas I have and some good discussion will take place. Most of the times I do post under the "people" or "life" which are the subjects of general interests, The members will surely respond if the discussion is interesting one and that is enough for me. I do not bother if it is offensive to some people holding some other opinions because I never intend to offend others and my language is never offensive. I just stick to normal language and people do like it.
