I have seen men crying openly in many of the reality shows. Does it not affect their macho image? Is it ok for men to cry in this manner on TV?

i think its great that a man can cry openly like that on t.v or in real life. For years a men hid their real emotions for fear people would think of them as a sissy.Today things have changed greatly-more men are able to let their emotions out-which in my opion is a good thing.I don't think crying has anything to do with a mans masculinity.

I think it depends what he is crying about. If something hard or emotional has happened then i think it is great. it is nice to see a softer side to guys. if anything i think most women would find the guy more attractive to see that side of him. atleast i would. now if he is on a reality show crying because he misses his mommie then that is a whole other story lol.

Yes, they should be able to. A man whom cries to me is a strong man. He has much love to show and give.. He has feelings that are real and not fake. This pleases me when a man cries and is very sincere with it!

A man crying - A picture of a man crying that I found under Yahoo images.
I don't see anything wrong with a grown man crying. It would be different if they were doing it all of the time. In certain matters in life a man is still a man with feelings. They need to vent in some way sometimes just as women do. It is understandable that it seems that women are more sensitive in some cases. It is actually good to know that a man can be open and show his human side and it is nothing that will interfere with the macho image in my opinion. Crying on television is alright also for a man.
