I found out that a lot of people hate the word Moist.. which is the name of the band I am getting a CD of with my Mylot earnings, so that's the first thing it makes me think of anyway!

I don't think I HATE any words, but there surely are some that I dislike a lot! I never thought of the word 'moist' before. It doesn't bother me. I don't like the word 'broom' because it makes your face look so ugly when you say it. 'Food' and 'book' are also words that fits into that category. Also, the word 'the' rubs me the wrong way. If you say the word 'the' 10 times, you'll begin to feel like an idiot! It sounds like you're retarded when you say it. I guess any words that make your face ugly when you say them or words that make you sound like you're mentally challenged are words that I'd love to do without in my life. I can get away with leaving the word 'broom' out of my vocabulary by calling that thing a 'sweeper', but I'll never get away from the word 'the'. It's just too common and can't be substituted. Sigh!

Ah, dragon just reminded me of the racial slurs that we hear practically every day. I despise them!!! I don't care what race the words are against, they are derrogatory and demeaning and just downright hateful! I don't think I have to list them here. I'm sure you and everyone else knows the words I'm referring to. I don't even like mentioning them in the context that I hate them! They are THAT nasty to me.

I was just wondering, why the Moist? Because of the weather or what?

I never thought about it. The only words I really hate are racial epithets, they're nastier than curse words and truly insult me.

Hello Sheepie! I'm not really crazy about the word 'moist', either - but the one I really, really hate is the word 'panties'. For some reason, it conjures up dirty old men offering sweeties to little girls. It's just a nasty word - I'd rather use 'knickers' or 'underpants' or ANYTHING else!
