The way the cost of things have gone up many are living off credit including my family-we have 2 credit cards,a gas card & loans. It ticks me off when I see all these federal bail outs on the news-I'm like "hey bail me out!"
If anyone has been able to overcome falling into debt I'd love your advice & if you have it like me I just want to say I feel your pain

I do know just what your're saying here. One thing that i did do that actually has helped me tremendously was to go in and consolodate all my debt locally. The bills are going down but with the economy as it is, it is still a real struggle. it's getting pretty tough for all of us. I am in the low income bracket but I work so don't qualify for much help. I'm a single mom and have cut back a lot on things. This computer is our biggest luxery and If things don't turn around, I see this also coming to a halt. times are tough!

we thought about a debt consolidation loan but since some of them are new & revovling we figured it would never be approved so we are just sticking it out making minimum payments.
same here w/ us too we can't get assistance b/c we have income but yet we have to get loans just to make ends meet
