Would you like to live next door to a McDonald's or Burger King?

I haven't had fast food burgers in years. But, I guess if I lived next door to a Burger King, then I would have their food more often. Awhile back, when I lived in middle of town, there was a Burger King about a block or two away. And, we had burgers at least twice a week. I don't really think it's healthy food, but it's fast food, now! And, it's cheap. What do you think? Would you love to live next door to a Burger King? Would you eat their food every day if you did live next door to a Burger King or McDonald's?

Sometimes I like to have the food from the fastfood restaurants like McDonald's. Here there is no Burger King. However, there are two McDonald's and one KFC nearby my home. So I can go there anytime I want. However, usually it's crowded there. I love China

EW!! NO!! UGH. I don't eat fast food, as a general rule. It's not that good for me to start with (why people in the USA are overweight to start with, well at least one of the reasons) and I live in the woods where I see no one and love my privacy and quiet. So that's a double no!! LOL

Yeah, fast food is the bane of modern American existence.

I liked your answer, the idea of living in the woods and seeing no-one sounds kind of idyllic! (At least for a little while anyway).

I had that same experience when the Burger King was just down the road. They had a fifty cent burger deal for a while, so we could eat lots for a couple dollars.

I'm not sure I'd want to live that close to either of those places, as I would probably get tired of smelling the grease they use to cook with I would definitely eat there more though. I like fast food joints and I don't care that they are not as healthy as other foods

Yes, absolutely! I love McDonalds and I tend to pop in there at least once per month. I think it would be quite dangerous though as I would become lazy and wouldn't bother cooking anymore! Anyway, I don't know what it is about McDonalds, it has a nice taste and you can keep on eating the stuff! Andrew

No way! I enjoy a hamburger now and then (like two or three times a year), but I think the smell and the traffic would far outweigh any benefit of being that close.

It might be fun for a while - you could just pop over and get lunch or supper or a snack whenever you wanted, but I'm sure it would get old after a while. You would have to be able to stay in control and not let it get out of hand or you would be putting on weight!

No, I would hate it! I could not afford to eat from there all the time and so the kids would drive me mad keeping on wanting it all the time until the novelty wore off. I once lived near a mcdonalds, I was 18 at the time and only had my baby son so I did used to eat there a lot as there was only me to buy for. Now I would have 5 others to buy for too!

I wouldn't want to live next door to either one, I'd eat there too much and gain all the weight back that I've lost..haha. If I had to choose tho, I would choose McDonald's, I like them better than Burger King, hey its fast food and its cheap.

No, i dont think i would like that at all. I havent eaten there for very long time. I wouldnt it it was free. I used to wonder all the time why it was considered junk food while if you fix the same stuff at home its not junk. Our local news channel told us why. Since seeing that i never ate there again nor do i plan to EVER. That stuff has been cooked and warned so much its not even food anymore. I prefer to carry my food from my home cause i heard a lot about disgrutal fast food employees too.

We don't have a McDonald's in my town. I couldn't afford to eat at McDonald's very often. A kids meal is $8. I eat there very rarely when I'm in the next town. I love it, but it's not in my budget. It's a special treat to eat a McDonald's meal.

well i do not hope to live next door to a fast food joint. there are several reasons why not. i've worked in one before, and the smell that clings to my hair and clothes is not very pleasant. i can't imagine how my home will smell if i actually live next to one. another reason is the noise. fast food joints are usually patronised by teenagers. and teenagers are not exactly known to be quiet. so it won't be a peaceful place to live. one more reason is the temptation. we all know how convenient it is to have a fast food meal. if i live right next to one, i might be tempted to live off fast food. that'll be really bad for my health. cheers ;p

I don't think i would as it would be a constant temptation. They are not very cheap here in my country, but i rather not take the risk anyway as i do enjoy eating some of their products from time to time.

I definitely don't want to stay next to a fast food restaurant. Fast food is unhealthy food and is bad for health. High calories, high fat and high carbohydrates. I think if really I am forced to stay next to a fast food restaurant,I will not go to eat their food everyday. Maybe by that time, when I smell it,I will feel fed up with the food. Lol.

For me, i would not like to live next door for the fast food restaurant. The main reason is too many people will visit the restaurant and when they pass by, i feel uncomfortable for that. Also, nowadays the fast food restaurant is open for 24 hours, that's more worst. I wonder i would able to have a quality sleep from that time onwards. No doubt is really convenience when we didn't cook as we just walk to next door and we can have the food. But still not convincing me to stay next door.
