Mactan, Cebu - any specialties/recommended pasalubongs?

Hi, guys. I'll be leaving for Mactan in a couple of weeks for a client engagement (which would last around three weeks or so) and, as early as now, I'm trying to compile a list of people to get pasalubong for while I'm there. Since this is an official assignment, most of the people from our office know where I'd be going and would be expecting pasalubong from me when I return, as is the custom for people who go out of town (whether for official business or for vacation). Problem is, I don't really know which products are unique to Mactan. Could you guys, especially those from Mactan, help me out? I'd really appreciate your responses.

You can always look for OTAP, CAY-CAY and LECHON in Cebu. I believe these three are few of the popular pasalubongs. Or you can buy a guitar. Anyways, you can find all of these in SM Cebu (haha). The lechon, there's this popular lechon place where you can buy it on a per kilo basis. When you get there have a dinner at Golden Cowrie. Mactan is near Cebu City (so you can just take a cab).

i've been into mactan-cebu last year, well i can recommend dried mangoes and danggit for pasalubong! many of my friends & officemates are waiting for my danggit pasalubong for them, it's kinda expensive but it's good. but if you're looking for cheap pasalubong, you can buy dried mangoes..

Cebu is known making a good dried mangoes!!! I love their dried mangoes so much. Also native products, with necklaces, bracelets and purses. Cebu is also known making best guitars there.

I'm not sure if you've already been to Cebu by now. I do hope you brought home dried fish because it's so much cheaper there than here in Central Luzon. Their prices are at least half of how much they cost us here. And that's a pasalubong that many people would appreciate because they always make good breakfast. The Cebuanos in the market are also more than willing to pack them nicely for you so that they'd be ready to be given away or sold :D Thanks for the comment on my discussion!
