I like e - books, and few books I down loaded too ! But then I down load books which are locally not available for me. I prefer the paper books to e books because you can carry them any where and you can read them at any palce and in any position. I mean you can even read a book while in the bed. I normally like to read a book before retiring to bed. This takes me to sleep very smoothly. If some smooth slow music accompanies it , then there is nothing like it! I like to have my personal library for which I collect books on various subjects of my interest. I like paper books ! Thanks! It was a good topic of discusssion , enjoyed participating in it!

Same here. I like paper books as well. I find ebooks not that easy to read. Moreover, when studying i prefer to have books than ebooks. Its easier to understand and flip though as well. lol yes. We cant take ebooks and read them comfortably... the screen and the keyboard doesn't allow you to enjoy reading them.. Thanks for your thoughts and happy mylotting.

I prefer normal ordinary books anytime than e book. I have tried reading e-books before and they make my eyes tired because of the light coming from the pc screen. I love to laze in bed and read a book especially in the evenings or during rainy days. So it's normal books for me.

Paper backs for sure,I like laying down when I read and being comfortable and i can't do that sitting in my uncomfortable chair in front of the computer lol plus E-books are just too big of a strain to the eyes

I think that's the main disadvantage of ebooks. They should come up with a more lighter and potable solution like an ebook reader... after all we do have ipods exclusively for music. thanks for your views. happy mylotting

Well if I don't have the money to buy the book, I always resort to downloading e-books. But it's really eye-straining. I also tried downloading e-books then putting it in my cellphone. My thumb got tired of scrolling down the pages. LOL! It is still best to read hard/soft bound books.

Hi Cambiste, There is nothing better than to get into a comfortable chair or curl up on the cough with a good book. It is hard to do that while on the computer. I will always prefer a traditional soft or hard covered book, it is like having a good friend with you.

I agree. Its more comfortable with paper books than using the mouse or keyboard and having to look up at the screen to read the same thing. Thanks for your opinion. Happy mylotting.

I agree. A books has its value after all. It wont be cheap, and usually if the book is online for free its easier to just download ti and read though. There's no guarantee that a book you buy will have what you want either. Thanks for your time.

Yep. I know. ebooks just add up somewhere and everywhere in your PC. You could download t and just forget about it. Chances are that one wouldn't have even read a quarter of the ebooks stored in your PC. I know i haven't read many of them yet... Thansk for your time happy mylotting
