Have you ever gotten a gift from a friend for your birthday or the holidays that you didnt like,
but you had to accepted because you didnt want to hurt the person who gave you the gift feelings its happened to me a few times there was a gift a friend gave me and I thought it was really awful but I had to take it in fact I still have it hiding in my closet ew,
but I guess its the thought that counts right. anyway have you ever gotten a hideous gift that you had to accept?

Hi there apples99
I am not a great fan of recieveing smellies as a gift and my sister in law keeps buying them for me. I like to choose my own. Last year though she bought some soaps and what have you so I took them out of the basket they came in and that is now in my kitchen holding my eggs. My mum has even bought me something I don't like which really annoys me because she knows me so well, why would she do that!!?

Hahaha I know what you mean, because I recently got a gift from someone close to me that I really didn't like, and of course I had to accept it because I didnt want to seem ungrateful the gift is now in my closet and the funny thing is this person knows me very well and they know my taste, well I guess its the thought that counts right lol.

Well this was a glow in the dark winnie the pooh nightshirt. I don't do winnie the pooh and I don't do nightshirts but I keep it in my drawer for when my mum comes to saty and forgets her nighty, I give her that to wear, she might get the hint at some point so that she never makes that mistake again!!
