Normally I buy CDs to put on my iPod, but there was one I couldn't get recently and one of my daughters showed me how to buy them from iTunes. It was excellent - downloaded brilliantly and I didn't have to leave the house!

I do both. If I am interested in a song, I will listen to it online and will download it if possible. However, if I really like the entire album, I'd rather buy the album than download it because original CD's have higher quality than to those that are being downloaded over the net.

I download most of my music, not because I don't want to buy it, but because the stuff I like can not be found in most Canadian and American mustic stores. Also, I don't know enough Croatian to order it from a lot of their websites. I know the names of the artists i like, and the Croatian names for the particular musical genres, so it's easier for me to type keywords I know into sites like Limewire, and find new songs I don't have yet.

Yes, I listen to music online. My favorite place to go is to Yahoo Music. There, I can listen to old jams and the new songs of today. I don't download music at all.

thanks for your suggestion. I did not know about Yahoo music. I used to watch music videos on You tube but lately it has become a bore.

I always bought a CD for my music to have a clear copy as well but when I have an "internet Download Manager" I stopped to buy a CD and I just enjoyed my downloading in any time that I would like to have it.......

We buy cd's from the shop. We have software so we can copy cd's which is good for the children and to put in the car.

The very best in life is free. So I didn't really buy cds' or other media. I just simply download everything I need over the internet. Sometimes if my connection gets so lousy I just listen to online radio stations. I didn't consider much money for luxury as its getting harder each day to earn extra money that the ones we spent.

I usually buy or borrow and copy my music even though they are some great share programs like Ares and Limewire to get it from. I hate taking the chances of downloading a virus. You never know when a virus or worm can strike and be hiding in a file you download. I used to download music and movies but when I lost a computer do to a worm and 8 viruses hitting my computer all at once and I had virus protection and it disabled it my protection..so I haven't downloaded since. I have a great computer now and just don't wanna chance that.

I listen music on online radio stations and on the radio. I also download music, if new songs I like appear, or if I want to listen to whole albums. I've only bought one original CD in my life. It's not worth the money. It's true that it's good for the artist, but first of all, it has to be good for me. And since the quality isn't much (or at all) better than what I can download, I go for the cheapest (or free, in my case).

Hi ronald-I buy the original CD's mainly cos then they can be downloaded to my computer if I want..and one day (morbid though it may seem!) when I am gone they will probably be worth something just as some of my original beatles tapes etc..and the other thing is I don't like buying online you never know if someone will gat my details once bitten twice shy...littleowl

Sorry I can't be of much help here. I am not very big on music. I have not ever downloaded any. I do not buy CD's. I do not listen to it on the radio, (unless i am somewhere that has the radio on and I can't turn it off) All my life I have not been Big on music! I did listen a bit more when I was younger. not really that much compared to others though.
