I've seen a lot of houses who has wind chime in their doors or windows. We also have one in our front door. Do you know what is that wind chime for? Do you have wind chime in your house? Thank you for sharing..

I would love a wind chime but i live in a skyscraper so in doesn't really work. There aren't any at my place. I am not sure what they are for, but i love the sound of it.

We have two at home, one placed on our door and the other is attached on the gate. Our purpose of putting those chimes there is basically to hear if someone is around or have entered our premises.

I guess a wind chime is just for enjoyment. I love wind chimes. We don't have one personally but my in-laws have two and my 16 month old baby loves them. He loves to watch them blowing in the breeze and giggles as the chimes play their beautiful music. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

Oh yes, I have wind chimes hanging at the door. There are two now but they're old given some Christmas years ago but still usable as a door "knocker" actually instead of knocking we just get the chimes to sound really hard and then somebody will open the door. It's not anymore wind-friendly because the two are lumped together except when there's a strong wind and sometimes I thought somebody is at the door :)
