A few days ago 2 kittens were thrown near our house. One was dead and the other one was crying. I felt sorry for the kitty so I took it. I just tried to feed it with milk. The past two days. I'm not really good in taking care of pets. Is there anything else I could feed the kitten? Any suggestions?

Sorry, I can't give solid food. I mean, I think the kitten is just less than two weeks old. So I just gave her milk.

yes exactly what i said... if you have a milk to feed the kitten then you make the kitten live. if you dont have anything to feed then it will die for sure....

First thing you need to do is go to the pet store and get special kitten food, you do not want to give it cows milk, that is not good for them..Second, after feeding the mother cat licks the kittens belly, helping it to go to the bathroom. I tried it once, and ended up taking the kitten to the humane society because it wouldn't go and it needed more help than I could give it..

Really? Bummer, I gave it cow's milk. Is it gonna be harmful for the kitten?

Yes it is harmful..If you can, you need to get it to a vet right away, he/she can tell you the best formula for the kitten..If you can't, go to a pet store and ask about the different formulas..Tell them the kitten is really young..Also, I didn't explain completely about it going to the bathroom..You need to take a warm damp wash cloth and rub it's belly gently going from the chest going all the way down.. If it doesn't go to the bathroom soon, it can be life threatening..

First and foremost, take it to the vet. It may have some health problems that only a vet can take care of- and be able to tell you how old the cute little one is. Now, once all is said, go to the pet store and get some kitten formula. Human milk is different from the kitten's mother's milk. So, once the vet has told you how old, you'll be able to tell what kind of formula to get. Feed the kitten every 2-3 hours. Here's a website that can you help you out better: http://www.safehavenforcats.com/newborn.htm Good luck with the kitten!!

If its an infant then right now just formula. I would call a vet as soon as you can and get suggestions from them though, they deal with things like this and should know what to do.
