Do you like to eat those kind of foods? I often like to eat Puto, kutsinta and biko in my breakfast. Suman, Sapin-sapin, Palitaw and Maja blanca during my snack times. Puto- is a steamed rice cake. Puto has a spongy and slightly fluffy texture. It is light and airy and biting into one feels like biting into a much firmer piece of an Angel cake. Kutsinta- is a brown rice cake, a favorite snack in the Philippines and is good with freshly grated coconut. Palitaw- is a small flat sweet rice cake. They are made from sticky rice. When served, the flat discs are dipped in grated coconut, and presented with a different dip made of sugar and toasted sesame seeds. Biko- very sweet sticky rice with dark brown sugar sauce made from coconut milk. Best served with latik on top of it. Simply delicious you can't stop eating it! Suman- is a rice cake originating from the Philippines. It is made from a glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk, and often steamed in banana leaves. Usually eaten with sprinkle of sugar. Sapin-sapin- a native different colored dessert consists of coconut milk, ube powder, gelatin, corn kernels, sugar and eggs. Often served with latik on the top. Maja Blanca- is made from coconut milk and corn starch. served with sprinkled latik on top.Do you know that maja Blanca is one of the esiest dessert to make?I like them all and eat them as often as I want.
